He wanted his child to be raised like Clementine. He practically says it himself.

But, the way I have in mind is not likely his, which is teaching the kid how to survive, but not be morally bankrupt just to survive.

He wanted his child to be raised like Clementine. He practically says it himself. He wants the child raised like Clementine in the sence that (s)he will be like Carver himself. Clementine (at least the way I play her) is litteraly the opposite side of the coin to carver. She's Ned Stark, he's Tywin Lannister. Both are effective rulers, but they couldn't be more alike. Basicly, Carver think's Clem is much more ruthlessly pragmatic than she is, but he is right in thinking she has strong character and has some serious backbone. The difference is that she has a good strong character, while he was ruthless.

I play as a Ned Starkesk Clem also, I make the choices that help the group, but is also nice and caring and would not do something pragmatic unless it was the only choice, the antithesis of Carver, I told him point blank, that I am not like him in the slightest.

I stayed and watched, then almost immediately regretted it. At that point, my hatred for Carver (and the curiosity to see the scene) burned hot than my will to prove him wrong. I got caught up, but it's not who I am.

I wanted to, I really did want to watch, but doing that was what he wanted, and Kenny himself said to leave, so I did that, it felt right, though I wanted to see how badly he got fucked up.

Ned Starkesk Clem. I like that term a lot.

(Proud that my Clementine isn't a blooming psycopath and didn't watch) Same here. I walked out because I didn't need to see any of what was about to happen, and proving Carver wrong about Clem just before he died felt really good. I would have preferred just to shoot the son of a bitch, though. I did shoot the son of a bitch. In the face. He just didn't die.
