Who do I vote for?
He's Commander Shepard, and this is his favorite thread on the forum.

Who is your favorite TWD character, as in from anything, show, comic, or game.

He's in a video game. He's in the social game, he's in the assault game... He is a video game character. Doesn't matter that I prefer his comic version, though.

Rick is way more hardcore. He chopped off his girlfriend's hand to save his son. Did Shepard ever do anything as badass?

He helped cure the genophage, or just played the krogan, making them THINK he did, while getting support from the salarians anyway. There's also that one time he saved the entire galaxy. Oh, and the OTHER time he saved the whole galaxy. By uniting said galaxy through sheer force of will and badassery. I also wouldn't particularly count Rick sacrificing Jessica (that was her name, right?) as something "badass". That's just protecting his own family.

That's not badass, it just doesn't make sense. The other one is cool, but not necessarily badass. What about the time that Rick killed a guy who was threatening the human race? Or that OTHER time he killed a guy threatening the human race? Or that UPCOMING time where he kills a guy threatening the human race? Keep in mind, alien life doesn't exist here, so killing these people is practically saving the galaxy. It was Jessie, and that was totally badass.

How has anyone Rick has ever killed ever been threatening the entire human race? None of these guys are systematically going around turning people into zombies, or just shooting people in order to wipe out the human race for Teh Evulz. They're pretty big scumbags and deserved to die, yes, but even if they had gone on living they never would have been able to do a fraction of the damage of the Reapers. The guys Rick goes up against are just assholes who are insane/trying to survive. To say that Rick is saving the human race is just dumb. I don't agree with it being badass. Killing your girlfriend to save your son isn't badass, it's a Sadistic Choice that sucks no matter what you do. It was a hard thing to do, and I respect that he had the guts to make a difficult choice like that, but it doesn't fall under my definition of badass.

The hunters were cannibals, and were gnawing down the human race. The Governor wasdefinitely the human race (though Rick didn't technically kill him, he was responsible for his downfall). Negan is literally threatening the human race. What the fuck? Are you serious? You really expected him to just let his son die? I see it as he destroyed something he cared about to save something he loved. Pretty badass.

Negan is literally threatening the human race. What the fuck? Are you serious? You really expected him to just let his son die? I see it as he destroyed something he cared about to save something he loved. Pretty badass. The hunters and cannibals were, arguably, surviving. Should they just give up and starve? The Governor wasn't threatening the human race, he was threatening Rick and the prison. Rick wouldn't have lifted a finger to stop him if he had been harassing someone else's group anyway. Negan is not literally threatening the human race. He's threatening a bunch of people in Washington D.C. He needs to eat a bullet, and soon, but survivors in other areas don't even know he exists. I'm fairly certain he can't really do anything to anyone outside of D.C. Yes, believe it or not, I AM serious. That wasn't badass. At no point did I ever say I expected him to let his son die. Nor did I even imply it. I simply said it was a sadistic choice, and nothing about that situation could make it good. Notice how I even said I respected Rick because he could do something as difficult as that. But it wasn't badass. I feel that our definitions of badass are just too different for us to make any headway on this issue.
