Well, I just watched the premiere of Sonic Boom. It's good. Not exactly how I expected it to be like, but hey, it really is a good show.

I expected it to be just another cheesy comedy, but it did have some good parts, especially in the second episode when Sticks is trying to pronounce unobliteratable, but then she just gives up and says "you cant kill me.". Can't wait to see when they finally put Shadow and other characters in.

I don't know why but Eggman's laugh-snoring in Episode 2 was fucking hilarious.

It wasn't as bad as I expected. It was actually quite good, apart from that 'Sticks' character. I would've preferred the 'Actually...' beaver guy over this.
The VAs are all tolerable, Amy's character is more than just the embodiment of lust, Sonic isn't a douchebag. The designs aren't even annoying. Eggman is definitely the highlight of the show, though.
I wonder when they'll introduce Shadow? Almost all the promo material was from these first two Episodes, so it'll probably only be around Episode 3 or 4.

Well all of the characters retain their VAs from the games. Roger Craig Smith (who voices Sonic) I feel does the best job in here actually, as we get a wide variety of emotions in this comparted to his mostly cheerful attitude in all the games. Plus I'm a bit biased since he does VAs for some of my favorite characters such as Chris in Resident Evil 5 and 6, Ezio from AC2 to Revelations, and Captain America in all animated Marvel properties, such as the Avengers TV show and Lego Marvel.

This right here was probably my favorite part of the two episodes.

When he said "I can't swim" in Episode 1, while he was sinking in water, there was no emotion there at all, but aside from that he's done a far better job than in the games. Actually, all of the VAs are much better in the show than the game.

At least the show acknowledges Sonic can't swim, unlike in Sonic X when he could for some reason...

I have a feeling he was originally supposed to say that while he was standing on the ice or something but they changed it at the last minute and couldn't retake the line.

ANd this disgrace of a human being calls himself a true Sonic fan...I got to try out the new game at NYCC and while it's definitley not a "True Sonic fan", it's still fun. Kinda reminds me of a mix between Ratchet and Clank and a Lego game.
