Without question, the three best soundtracks in recent years, what a great year 2013 was.

No, 2013 was much weaker year for gaming than 2012 or 2011 and many more, in my opinion. Except Telltale games, I wasn't hyped for at least one game. Thankfully, 2014 looks much more promising.

Your kidding right? 2012 was good, but most games were not as great as we wanted them to be, AC3, well, it was not that amazing, ME3, the fucking ending, Dishonored was good but not fantastic, Journey was PS3, about the only amazing game I can think of was Far Cry 3, and that came out of fucking nowhere, 2011 is a contender for best gaming year with Batman, Skyrim, and other good shit, but I have to go with 2013, it gave me Bioshock Infinite, a game I had heard of since I got a 360 is 2010, a series I had never played, a game I did not want, it made it my GOTY like that, and then came the Last of Us, which was yeah mostly like TWD, but it was still fantastic, then GTA 5 enough said, AC4 which I am shocked to say is a blast and one of the best games of the year not kidding, and some damn good indie games and DLC, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon was the best thing ever, the Stanley Parable was amazing, Brother's a Tale of Two Sons was amazing, I am personally going to vote this the best year in gaming since 2007, the year that gave us COD 4, Bioshock 1, and Half Life 2 episode 2.

I didn't like the games you mentioned too much. TLAU was PS3 only, so I didn't care about it. From LPs I can say it's good, but not as good as people say it is. GTA 5 was alright, but It wasn't like those good old GTA games. Bioshock infinte, well, I don't really have opinion on it, I didn't play it. I admit, Blood dragon was great. I don't even know what Stanley parable is, Tale of two sons was only meh to me, don't really get the hype around it. 2012 was much better. It had games like Dishonored, TWD, Xcom:enemy unknown (I got it today, by the way), Trials:evolution, Max Payne 3. That's already enough to beat this year, but it's just my opinon. 2011 was just amazing year, I don't have to explain that one, do I? I get why you like this year, but I can't agree.

You might want to wait for a GOTY version, trust me when I say the DLC is fantastic, I have no idea why in the hell critics were meh, they said it was 60 minutes, more like five hours, it's a amazing game trust me, would I lie to you?

On the subject of GTAV, I disagree. It was far more like the old GTA games than GTAIV. For one thing, it brough my favorite vehicle back, the airplane. For another, it found the perfect balance between the silliness of the older games, and the seriousness of GTAIV in both gameplay and story. Its main downfall was that the main characters were all assholes except for Franklin.

Its main downfall was that the main characters were all assholes except for Franklin. That's not what I meant. I know it was more like the older GTAs, but it wasn't as good as them, imo. I expected something better. Characters were worse, like you said adn I got bored with the game soon after finished main storyline. The world felt pretty empty after it.
