9x09 has been leaked I think. Through AMC's online service nonetheless! They just made it available for a week early for those who subscribe to their service. Not really a leak. I was able to watch it tho, it was pretty good. Quality continues.

I guarantee she's leaving to be in the movies they're doing.

Okay, mid-season premiere just happened. Still feels like Jesus got taken down with a cheap shot.
That walker with half of another walker stuck to its leg like that was so creepy. That's like something out of a nightmare.
I really didn't like how Negan let one of the dogs get eaten by a walker like that. Seeing the Sanctuary the way it is looks like a storm hit it hard. I don't think anyone ever talked about what happened to the Saviors or Oceanside. Didn't think he'd actually go back to Alexandria when he just got out. Judith was funny when she said "Language! I'm a kid, asshole.". And might I add that little ass-kicker is a real good shot.
That trap the Whisperers set for Aidan and Luke was real cunning and the way they were surrounding them was real scary. If it were my call, seeing a herd that big, I would've gone back. I'm a little sad that Michonne is leaving now as well. I'm hoping that she gets a sendoff where she doesn't die.

Poor naive Henry. Not a smart thing to tell Lydia about the Kingdom. During the story about her parents, it seemed to have started with the dad being bad and the mom being protective. But then it switched midway and shows how the mom became Alpha.
When Henry told Daryl why Carol had her hair short all along, that made me feel sad for her. The fact she has her hair long now is because that she feels safe around Ezekiel. And I realized that one of the wings on Daryl's vest is gone.
Lydia and Henry eating a worm was nasty. She said that her mom wasn't gonna come for her, yet it turns out, Alpha was willing to get her daughter back. But, unless they've got Aidan and Luke alive, they ain't gonna be willing to negotiate.
Meanwhile, we haven't really seen anything from the Kingdom in a while. They need to be informed about the Whisperers too.

God, I missed Jerry. He really made me laugh this episode. I didn't realize that he was seeing someone and is now a father. Though, I think he should've used his axe instead of a sword. All that for a projector bulb. I almost forgot they was planning a fair. Meanwhile, the Kingdom isn't even aware of the Whisperers yet or that Jesus is dead. When are the Hilltop and Alexandria gonna inform them?
That first encounter was pretty tense. I was really worried for that baby when Alpha made that woman leave it like that. But thank God Connie was there to save it. I thought that Henry was gonna get everyone killed when he took Lydia. While I'm relieved that no one else was killed, Alpha doesn't even deserve to have her daughter back or even pretend to act justified since her people spilled blood first when they killed Jesus. That bitch is crazy.
And now Henry is going out to look for Lydia. That boy is gonna get somebody killed, if not himself.

I'm not sure I approve about how Michonne was prioritizing Alexandria's survival and not the other communities. I don't think Rick would've wanted that. As for Negan, I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of letting him roam free. While he may prove to be an ally for the community, he could turn on them at any given moment just to assume control of them all, lead them the way he lead the Saviors.
If I was in Henry's position, with Alpha staring him down while asking who he was, I would've just given Alpha a good kick to the face, screw the consequences. The way those two Whisperers challenged Alpha and the anticipation of what she was gonna do was becoming too stressful for me. I was like, "Somebody say something! Someone do something already!" Decapitating that girl and then giving the man her head before gutting him like a fish was just horrible. This bitch is completely psychotic.
That pros and cons list Eugene made for Father Gabriel. At first, I thought he made it out of spite. But I can see he's being very supportive of Rosita's pregnancy. Especially that "peace offering" he handed over to Gabriel for Rosita.
Daryl is quite the fast learner, that smart son of a gun. Made a walker mask of his own to lure a herd in on the Whisperers and get Henry and Lydia away from them. I thought it was funny how Dog tried to fetch his arrow, but broke it in the process. That needs work.

I had seen a YouTube thumbnail of Daryl fighting Beta before, but never watched it. The way Daryl fought him was like a video game boss fight scenario, where the big bad (literally) comes with a few minions and you have to deal with them before dealing with the boss. Beta is one big terrifying bastard. Daryl was really outclassed and got his ass beat, yet he managed to toss him down an elevator shaft and win the fight. Barely. I had thought he got impaled by some rebar down that hole, but instead, he's stuck on an elevator. I like how Dog got to take a bite out of one of the Whisperers.
This new group The Kingdom have encountered. Where did they come from? Can they be trusted in the long run? And is Pirates really their group name? I like how they agreed to help them in exchange to watch a movie. My kind of trade. Maybe they'll watch "Indiana Jones"? The leader seems like he's trying to steal Carl's look.
I do like how the fair is looking. Those banners are a nice touch. I especially like the tiger statue as a tribute to Shiva.

Man, this was so fucked up.
At least we now know how Michonne and Daryl got those X scars. I had thought those were from getting cut. Being branded like was horrible. And the fact that it was done by the kids that were following someone Michonne once called friend... man, I canβt even imagine.
In the apocalyptic world, kids should be able to fend for themselves, but not like this. They can shove all that "the strong survive" bullshit. If the Erikson kids could see what they had become, they would be so ashamed of them all.
I like that we finally got to see Judith use that little sword sheβs always carrying around, letting us know that itβs not for show. That βchariotβ they were riding at the end was so weird to me. Mainly because itβs made from part of a minivan. Only 2 episodes left for this season. Very anxious for what will happen next.
