Just once, I want to see a character vulnerable before they die. They're always badass, or angry right before a named character dies. It would be even more effective if someone who we've come to respect and consider strong let's themselves die because they're crying over the body of someone else... It worked in the comics, for sure.

I've always like the parallels that the Christa scene has with his entire arc, instead of just the Shawn scene, which is what the Ben version of his "death" draws on. His goal was to protect his family, and he failed. Rather than sit by and watch another family be torn apart, he gives his life to prevent that from happening.

Instead of trying to save himself, he just accepts his fate and sits crying in the rain.

Yeah, I've always thought the Christa scene more than the Ben scene.

The group tries to convince him to go, but he doesn't respond, and the last thing we see of him is the zombies closing in as he weeps. Then screaming for confirmation.

You know people are going to think he still lived, that is the problem.

The group will go back that way later(for some reason), find Alvin as a walker and have a choice to put him down. That'd be a good solution.

I guess, by the way you people do realize your asking for the death of two characters we just met, one of which is a nice person?
