I honestly loved most of the new cast of characters, which I kind of wasn't expecting. But, since they are so likable, I figured we should have a thread like this.

Aasim, Violet, and Louis for sure. I just love the idea of characters chronicling the apocalypse, that's why Althea is my favorite character in Fear. Louis is essentially a kid Omid, but a LOT more charming and I love him, and Violet is such a sad girl I just wanna make her happy.
Tenn was pretty cool too. I like how surprisingly mature he was to be honest. Can't wait to see more of these guys.

I mean, everyone did, but esp the VA for Marlon. I gotta go hunting with Violet on my replay so I can spend more time with her, but yeah, I'm glad she wasn't so standoffish as to be unlikable. She just feels... kinda shy. I mean, like she said, not a people person. They actually got that across really well, and I like her ore because of it since I can relate.

Louis was just trying too hard imo, and the characters were shitting on him so it was fun to join in on it. It's fun to make fun of him, I'll say. But yeah, Marlon was the MVP imo, I kinda wish he was determinant or could've lived. Coulda been interesting. Besides from Violet and maybe Tenn, didn't really care about anyone else but I don't despise them at the same time. AJ wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be.

Besides from Violet and maybe Tenn, didn't really care about anyone else but I don't despise them at the same time. AJ wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be. AJ was kindof a brat but the parenting scenes that Clem got, and how obviously uncomfortable he was around other people made their dynamic interesting, and it made him sympathetic despite his bad behavior. I also liked his friendship with Tenn. The side characters didn't get a lot of screentime but I'm ok with that bc of how compelling I found the main cast, and also like you did, they're still enjoyable characters on a base level. I think everyone had this baseline of good writing and voice acting that they all met, so it made the vibe of the cast enjoyable, if not the individual characters. He was trying too hard, but I found it really endearing. Like, he's not charming like how he thinks he is, but he's kinda charming for how silly he is without realizing it. Yeah, I really wish Marlon could've lived. Still, I think AJ killing him is gonna lead to a lot of interesting dynamics with the rest of the group, so at least it wasn't a meaningless death.

Eh, Marlon's the only one I liked pretty much, disapointed that he just died, would be interesting having him as prisoner, Louis was a bit annoying, don't care much for the blonde girl, Tenn is ok I guess

Honestly, he gets no love here, but AJ is dope I agree. It was clever to echo Clem and Lee's relation but with clear differences. It always feels like your doing your best to keep the kid from falling off a psychological cliff. Yet he is still a kid and its shockingly fun to teach him right and wrong
