Guess me and Torm lost the bet, huh? Good thing I didn't make a bet.

Guess me and Torm lost the bet, huh? Technically we haven't seen the full footage

Right, I'm gonna hold onto that technicality then.
(I mean I'm 100% certain they won't show anyone since they said this is a tech demo and not actual footage from the game/season)
(Does the bet count then? Should we keep it going until we see the first real trailer/teaser? If everyone agrees, I think that would be fair)

Anyone else kinda get an Until Dawn vibe from the 3rd person camera?
I'm just glad they're finally breaking away from the static camera angles. Maybe in a decade they'll be able to make something that feels like an actual game.

I mean I hope they don't abandon the whole Interactive TV thing. I'm not sure if I'm alone in this, but I prefer that direction over being more like a game.

I personally think it still counts as a game in the same way walking simulators are games. Different genres but still a game. I do like the tv style frankly.

I personally think it still counts as a game in the same way walking simulators are games. Different genres but still a game. I do like the tv style frankly. I feel like "games" have to have systems of mechanics(gameplay) to interact with for purposes outside of the story. For example, even in a story-driven game like, say, Uncharted 4, the shooting is mostly there to be "fun gameplay". In something like a Walking Simulator or Narrative Adventure, the only systems/mechanics there are meant to further the story. If every system ties back into the story, it ceases to be a "game". You are not playing a "game", you are playing an Interactive Story. I make this distinction because I believe there is a significant shift in the storytelling medium when this happens, and it's important to recognize that shift. I think recognizing Interactive Stories as a different medium from Games in the same way Prose and Verse are different, or Cinema and Television, that it will allow developers to recognize how to best utilize their medium to tell stories.

I just have a fundamental different look on the medium. I subscribe to Totalbiscuits concept of failstates constituting game and walking simulators are it's own thing. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter what you call it so long as it's good. There are always exceptions to the rule.

Also, referring to the question in the poll now - probably no one, right?

Was just about to say that so many people still being hopeful to see Nate again is incredibly sad.

If Christa doesn't show up I'm going to be legitimately upset.
