A place where people can talk about Black Mirror without spoiler tags.
Added Season 4 episodes in the poll since Season 4 is coming really soon and I don't want to make a new poll when it does.
Personally, Black Mirror is one of my favorite shows of all time, and I don't think there's a bad episode in the whole bunch(there are some I don't personally like but I would never call them bad). I'm super super hyped for Season 4.
I only ever watched the first season, but the one about the British PM fucking a pig was sick.
I thought it was pretty great when I saw it the first time, too, but after seeing Season 2 and 3, I'd say it's a more mid-tier episode. Still really good, but Season 2 and 3 just have some really great episodes.
Stopped watching after the Christmas episode. I dunno, every episode left me depressed or, in some cases, outright disturbed (Looking at YOU White Bear).
I'd recommend you at least watch San Junipero. It's one of the best episodes - my personal favorite, and it won the Emmy for Best Writing - and it's the only one with an unambiguously happy ending. Definitely worth watching.
Also Nosedive has a not totally depressing ending, but tbh I think it's more of a mid-tier episode. I know a lot of people really love it, but I think it was a bit too heavy-handed, without having the emotional payoff that 15 Million Merits had that made that episode rise above its heavy-handed satire. But, it's pretty good and isn't totally depressing.
Also, Hated in the Nation is one of the best episodes - strictly imo this time, a lot of people don't have strong feelings on this one - and it has kind of a satisfying ending. Like, really depressing, but... there's a catharsis, at least.
But yeah outside of those three, Season 3 is just as depressing and disturbing as the rest. Shut Up and Dance probably gives White Bear a run for its money as the most disturbing episode, although personally I was really freaked out by Men Against Fire.
InsaneAlphaBeta: So..i must admit, ive found myself a new anime as of late. I grew up watching dubbed anime so ive never been really keen on the idea of having to read subtitles, but i stumbled across an anime where im totally fine with it being subbed lol.

Master Psychic: I mostly watched anime's with english dub, I watch the ones with sub that don't have english dub or have yet to release them. I'm fine with both versions, but I always go with english versions.
