So I caught up with this, and holy shit this is the best nonstandard joker of all time. Wow. John Doe and his connection with Bruce is fucking sick. Man there are so many variables I want to know about. What happens if you came out as Batman in season 1? That would affect basically the whole season. That's the one I want to know most about anyway. Holy shit this is a great season. Telltale reviving good. I'm honestly shocked. Really surprised at this as well. Ranks as my third favorite Telltale game after TWD1 and TWAU.

Currently replaying to build up my Villain Joker save and my god... Gordon's criticizing me for one choice for like 2 minutes straight. Super fucking impressive, Telltale. It's amazing.

Only part of this game I don't like is Batman himself. This is probably the dumbest, most incompetent Batman basically ever. I get that it's kinda necessary for the player to take up Batman's shoes, but he constantly gets played by this party and those people. I wish he was at least a little more aware of the people around him.
Overall, I'd probably put this game at third on my TTG list, beneath tales and twds1.

Maybe you mean the ending choice where you meet the Police as Bruce or Batman? It doesn't impact anything really, lol. Season 1 choices don't matter too much, if at all.

That's where a lot of the Season One choices ended up I think.... Season One is pretty skippable.

Does how you leave things off with Catwoman actually affect anything? Other than plenty of dialogue changes depending on whether you left on bad or good terms in the S1 finale and what you say as you enter Riddler's workshop with John and Catwoman, that's all I know.

I wonder if they /made/ season 2 so that season 1 was "skippable". Had the stain of Bruner on it and everything, so they wanted to take a step back and actually make something good with the minimal pieces.

I mean, that definitely seems likely, even down to how it's called "The Enemy Within" instead of Season Two.

I think I just realized something.
Is this maybe the only Telltale series outside of the first season of Walking Dead that didn't suffer from major rewrites?

So funny story: I'm taking a Contemporary Superheroes course this semester, and one of my professors is a big fan of Batman. So, I decided to mention that she should check out The Enemy Within because I thought she'd like it. She seemed really interested, so I sent her an email later with the two trailers, and I just got back an email with a whole bunch of questions about this version of Joker, including asking me where she could find the rest of the series.
She even specifically said she really liked the "Violence solves a lotta problems!" line from the Vigilante trailer :P

I'm getting season 1 and 2 soon as possible.

Wolf did following the first episode, TWD2 totally did, Tales did, Thrones did... Michonne was originally supposed to be something else entirely so I guess that counts. ANF totally did. All that really leaves is Batman 1 and MCSM 1&2, neither of which I really paid attention to. MCSM 1 kinda did because they hadn't even decided what episode 5 was going to be when they released the first episode... not sure about the second season which did come out pretty rapidly and was somewhat cohesive.
