There was a video from just a month or so ago, less I think. You can find it on their news blog thing on their website, but it was a walk through their offices, and you can see some GOT stuff up on the walls. Looks like it might be old, but it coooouuulld be season two stuff idk
edit:
Yeah it looks like stuff from season one, just concept art and what-not.

Optimistically it could be 2019? I mean, there's no more Walking Dead after next season, they're likely not doing another Tales, I really doubt GOTG will get a second season, I doubt they'd do a third season of Wolf so soon after Season 2, so barring new stuff, that just leaves another season of Batman, Minecraft, and Game of Thrones. If they're doing GOT Season 2 at all, I bet it'll be in 2019.

Realistically, how long can Telltale last financially at this point?
Walking Dead ends with S4 and bringing back Wolf after all this time makes wonder if they're desperate for funds. Maybe they'll do the same for Thrones.

everyone's least favourite PR turd Job basically just confirmed thrones 2 won't be next year so here's hoping there's some news by the end of the century Wait, really? The fuck are they doing? Hopefully this means they're actually putting in the effort to make who survived actually matter, in reality they're probably waiting for GoT to end so they can potentially do more with it. But that's the worst time to do it. I'm not saying popularity will go down instantly but I imagine sales would be higher if it was released BEFORE THE SERIES ENDS!?!?!

Logic never was TTG's strong suit. Quite clearly. Also I am betting a solid 20 they do a Season 3 and just kill all the determined characters cause fuck you.

Releasing the game after Season 8 airs is the dumbest idea I've ever heard of.
It's like they want the game to fail.

"Season 2 is "on hold" until the HBO show ends. Don't expect Season 2 in 2017 or 2018..." From here

Disappointing but I sort of suspected. If Wolf and/or Walking Dead goes well then maybe I'll get some hype for Season 2. If not, then Telltale's probably gonna be dead to me.

Yeah, it's on hold until TT figures out how to kill off characters so the game can start in the same point for everyone.
They probably expect the TV show fans to get the game after the show ends so they can get more of Thrones. But this won't happen. People will move on and won't invest their time into a side-story when they'll know the outcome of the main one.
Only some part of the original fanbase will play the game - those who'll care after 5 YEARS, at least. Weird decision from the business standpoint.
