Finished the Season 2 finale. It was a good way to wrap it up.
My goal was to remove the Admin's powers and try to redeem him. Though, he did make it hard to do when he blew up Champion City. I was surprised that Ivor managed to bring Lluna out from the prison and at the same time, very relieved that she is okay.
Jesse walking through the plan to get to the tower reminded me of Rhys' plan to get the beacon in Hyperion. And walking through the Admin's Beacontown while trying to be like Admin was... Yeah, hard to keep up being a mean person when you're a naturally good person. And he made such a mess of the town with his narcissism.
After getting into the tower, I find all the people imprisoned by the Admin became the New Ocelots, with Lukas leading them. Once we finally got to the terminal, it wasn't exactly like how I thought it would be. I actually believed it would be some sort of computer. Not a PAMA sized computer, mind you, but still. It took me a minute to realize how the blocks were supposed to be sorted, and I used a regular potato at first. It poofed up a flock of parrots. I thought the poisoned potato was gonna kill him, which I was avoiding. It turns out that Fred had a golden gauntlet prepared in order to remove Romeo of his powers.
That final showdown against Romeo, fighting against all his forms in all the places I've been to, was awesome. After I took his powers, we almost didn't make it out. Yet, Romeo did a very courageous and noble act; sacrificing himself in order to ensure that we can escape. In the end, he went out doing the right thing. And then, after doing some rebuilding, it was time to say goodbye to everyone. Ivor's going to reconnect with the rest of the old order, Radar is left in charge, Lukas is writing a new book, Jack and Nurm are setting their shop back up, Stella is going to go fix Champion City while leaving Lluna in my care for now. And as for Petra? Well, she and I are hitting the road. Off to a new adventure.
(Only nit-pick is that I never knew what became of Xara and Fred's people in the end.)
MY CHOICES: * I told Jack to be himself with Ivor. Just like I told Petra to be herself with Jack. * I destroyed the Admin's statue, but put Nell in danger. But she was at least with Lukas' New Ocelots group. So, it worked out fine. * I tried to reason with Romeo. I really thought I could get through to him. Almost did, but not quite. * I took Romeo with me. I really wanted to give him a chance to make up for all that he has done. I believe that's what Fred would've wanted. * I went adventuring with Petra. I made a promise that I'd stay with her. And I always keep my promises.
EXTRA CHOICES: - I decided to stay by Petra's side, no matter what. - I trusted Radar, letting him become the man in charge, as Hero-in-Residence. - I showed Radar that he needed to play it safe and be practical. - I showed Stella that Loyalty matters and helped her change her ways. - I showed Xara that there was hope in the world. - I took pity on Romeo and pulled him out of the void. (He almost made it out, too.) - In the end, I led with empathy and protected my friends no matter the cost.

Finally got the time to play the second season.
All I can say that it's better than season 1 was and pretty darker too.
Needless to say, it's far from being the best Telltale game. It's somewhere in the 'it's alright' zone

Minecraft Story Mode is up on Netflix lol is it like the regular game or is it all weird and netflixy? I'm guessing snippets of the game. I mean the Sonic ride at Universal was on Netflix for a while.

Minecraft Story Mode is up on Netflix lol is it like the regular game or is it all weird and netflixy? Episodes 1-5 of Season 1, regular dialogue is predetermined, major choices are limited to 2 options (they do carry over) QTE sequences are not interactive (it looks like a perfect playthough with UI removed), hub areas remain (the camera pans out to let you see the entire location and you have 3-5 options what to do - examine objects or talk to people etc. You can do it in any order). You can choose male/female Jesse in the beginning. It's basically 1:1 port of the game. The thing is, something's messed up and choices between ep1 and ep2 don't carry over (issue that happened to me and two of my friends). Oh, and the final choice of the season is removed, e.g. you can't choose the violent approach with the villain.
