Do you have a set time frame in mind for the duration in between issues? Also, how many will there be in total?
You totally definitely covered both of those questions on page one, but that page is sooooo far away.

Do you have a set time frame in mind for the duration in between issues? Not 100% sure yet, but hoping for issues to be weekly for each volume, with a break between volumes. We always want to have a backlog so things don't catch up to us, so Issue 2's release depends on when I finish Issue 3. Also, how many will there be in total? Keeping this a secret, but it also depends on how the script naturally comes out for each Volume. Say we're going for 5 volumes like the 5-episode format of the games, then it'd turn out somewhere between 15 and 20 issues.

This looks interesting. I'll check it out and give it a try. Do you know when the first issue will drop?

Wow, how didn't I see that in the title? Hot damn. Maybe the author should update the first post tho and add the link? Thanks mate. I'll give you some feedback once I'm done reading.

jake frost - Some feedback right away: - Maybe make it one picture on each page, and make the background black. Would make it much easier and pleasant to read.
- It is great that you use the Season 2 engine, not the plastic toy looks from Season 3.
- Seeing the old subtitle style makes my heart beat faster.
- A great deal of work went into this. I gotta pay you respect for that.
- I'd have a much better time reading this though if I could click from pic to pic in fullscreen mode. You should change the layout.
Some live observations while reading this: I really like the beginning. The atmosphere during their first chat is pretty great - you have some interesting camera perspectives in there, as well. Mentioning Griffith Observatory made me think about La La Land. I immediately found a liking in Karen and Finn. This intro feels more TWD than A New Frontier. The scene on the highway or whatever that was went down south pretty fast. Nice pacing. The issue is a bit short, but I can imagine it is a shitload of work nontheless. This was a fun read. Looking forward to issue 2. Not much to say about the writing so far, because it is pretty short. Keep it up!

Issue 2's already done (it's only not out because I want to make sure there's a backlog), but I'll keep these in mind for when I put Issue 3 together : ) One picture per page would provide a better flow, I suppose - plus if you can use the PgDn key on pdfs then it'd give the effect of clicking from one pic to another.

Looking forward to issue 2, especially 3, because yeah, clicking from picture to picture with the arrow keys would provide a better flow indeed.

I have like 10 images left to make for issue 3, so it's safe to say that Issue 2 will be posted on the 16th of May

Just finished Issue 3 in full (i.e subtitles and putting the PDF together) so that should be coming out around the 26th dependent on whether or not I can finish the issue 4 before that date.

Seems like you're running things pretty close. Have you considered releasing these biweekly? Seems a lot more low pressure than weekly. Gives you more time to consider what happens next

Gives you more time to consider what happens next It's a tough balance between holding peoples' interest and giving myself enough time. As it stands I can easily do weekly issues as I'm always one issue ahead at least, but I'm thinking of having a break once Volume 1 is complete, giving myself a heftier backlog and then having less pressure. Also I don't gotta consider what comes next -- since the start of the year we've been outlining the plot, so it's not a telltale 'make it up as you go along bc of audience response once the first part is out' scenario. Said outline will last a super long time, too.
