So there's no way the Guardian's going to fight Jack. This actually pisses me off. How many of you want to bet that Genndy will replace the Scotsman and his army with extra Ashi scenes? She'll probably be able to send Jack into the past with her "Aku" powers, but I'm worried on literally everything that this has built up to. i doubt that.

Caved and watched episode 9. I really honestly am done with this show after episode 8. How much you guys wanna bet that by the end of this, Ashi is either somehow magically freed from her DNA, or can control her Aku shit?

Gotta say...
I feel like the finale should of been a one hour long special cause honestly, it did feel a bit rushed. But on the other hand, Aku's demise was worth it after so many years of waiting, Ashi's death was pretty sad and the final scene with Jack and the ladybug was nice. Overall, while the last episodes felt a bit rushed, I'm glad that Samurai Jack got a continuation cause this is a show that really needed some closure after all this time.

This really should've been another 13 episode season. First half was pretty great, but everything in second felt rushed
I really didn't like it, if Ashi never came back after episode 4, this seaso would've probably been waaaay better.

It... Kind of ended? It was pretty rushed, though I'll admit that seeing so many characters back once again was pretty goood even if many of them died.
I was afraid that the series wouldn't aknowledge the fact that if Jack goes back to the past and deafeat Aku we would not see any repercusions in the timeline, as much as I thought that the Jashi relationship was forced and rushed it did at least serve to illustrate the fact that destroying Aku has fucked up the entire timeline, one problem with that though is that Ashi has kinda of become a plot device, she was necessary for allwoing Jack to go back to the past and to have Jack expirience loss and grief making her character feel even more shoehorned in.
Honestly I thought the series would go for a false ending because there was not time to wrap up everything up, or maybe that Jack would realize about the timeline fuck up and settle down to just defeating Aku in the future, but for best or worse I think this a full conclusion.
Overall I think that the second half of the season was pretty lacking and that the season should had capitalize more on it's own continuity than on continuity with the rest of the series.

A fitting ending.
A tiny bit rushed, but it's exactly the ending I wanted. Just wished that Jack had a proper sendoff with the Scotsman.
