I appreciate this. We're talking, we're having discussions, debates. It's great.
Shame it's over stuff telltale released 3 years ago.

To be fair, season 3 has plenty that can be discuss and argued about. Just because it's shit doesn't mean there isn't anything that's debatable.

It has plenty to discuss, but it's hard to discuss when TTG have shown time and again that their decision making process is based entirely around what will create the most shocking series of events.

I don't know, it's just more enjoyable when everyone likes the material and is really giving a deep look to it. Not just "this is shit and this is why it's shit" or "this is shit" "no it isn't"

I mean, for all Season 2's faults, there's still a more or less even keel of us here who can find at least something to enjoy about it, but ANF doesn't seem to have even that. For some Season 2 kicked the bucket and shit the bed about halfway through, but so many of us seem to consider ANF to be Dead on Arrival that there isn't much we can say, which is a damn shame.

If I had to guess, I'd guess that the ending reconvergers are what caused that Dead on Arrival feeling. Even the people who didn't mind those deaths were just disappointed at how ridiculously easy they were to predict. Now, when talking about the game, I feel like even the people who enjoy it enjoy it in the same way that one might enjoy The Room. They don't enjoy it on a dramatic level, or because of the writing, but just because it's fun to watch.

I still stand by that there's some tiny litttle spark of potential, but if anything, that just makes it more frustrating. Like, I genuinely like Javier as a protagonist, and most of the new characters could be interesting if given the time they needed to be fleshed out. I liked Prescott as a setting, but it's gone after only having spent like, maybe 30 minutes there. The intereactions between the characters are interesting if shallow, and I still enjoy the overall aesthetic and art direction. But the fact that all of that is squeezed into these ridiculously short episodes with a stupid over arching plot crippled by the presence of Clementine and Jesus.... The fact that I have to get past what might be the most insulting scenes in the entire Walking Dead franchise(more so than the heads on spikes in the comics I'd say) to try to enjoy the good bits... The fact that even as some of the choices are tense, you can immediately see how they do not fucking matter at all... It turns the few positives into negatives as it only increases my frustration with ANF.

I suppose I have no choice but to stream it now. What's a good time? Don't fuckin' disparage Pete. Remember what I did to Sonic when he tried? YOU PLAYIN' WITH FIRE, BOI. Police brutality & abuse of power in one post, my God. Just kidding, Pete4Life

Even the people who didn't mind those deaths were just disappointed at how ridiculously easy they were to predict. If I recall correctly I was pretty sold on it up until the end of Episode 1. Kenny's death I could live with because I wasn't particularly attached to that ending to begin with, but Mariana's death just killed the mood for me to the point where I just played episode 2 to get my money's worth with no emotional investment.

Seeing the feud for who is the best Season 2 character... Can we all agree that no matter what they belong to the forever blessed Randall dynasty? Well that would be assuming that Nick didn't get his father's last name but we can all agree that drunken fucktard doesn't deserve to share his last name with Nick. I was quite a downer when it came to Season 3 even before it's release (not that make much of an impact since I was barelly active and you would be wise to ignore me anyways ) but I did like several aspects of the series like Javier's story and Mari- SHIT!Yeah, I'm afraid I can't bring much to the table when discussing season 3 so far...

So guys... Who's gonna die? My guess: - Badger (obviously, judging from the trailer) - Tripp (good guy, must die; others from our group either have a plot armor - Jesus, Clem; or must be a part of a choice later in the game - two babes and Javi must decide which one makes his d*ck tingle) - Conrad (because determinant) - might be a stretch, but I'm thinking AJ (because of how sick he looks on the trailer. And shock value, which TT loves. Fuck if that would make the entire plot of S2 meaningless, but TT already showed they don't care)
