Nick and Pete were unequivocally the highlights of season 2. Shame they were wasted as they were. Carlos' death made me so angry. The poor guy just wanted his daughter to be safe. Then Telltale kills him off to have an attempt for Sarah to get some character development in the next episode. But then she just dies. What was the point of all this? What annoyed me more was that he got killed so fast. Shot and dies within a few seconds. I swear it happened so fast I actually forgot he died when I booted the game up to play episode 4. No time for an emotional response even though I liked the guy. Hell Alvin had more emotion when he dies and I barely knew him.

In my most recent playthrough of Season 2 I found myself warming up to Carlos a lot more than I did back when Season 2 was coming out. I warmed to the entire Cabin Group more than I used to, but my liking for Carlos seemed to be the one that improved the most. I never disliked him, but... I was finally really liking him. And you know what? He got the exact same treatment Pete did. Killed off for the sake his daughter's development, like Pete was killed for Nick's, but it never went anywhere, again like Pete and Nick. The only real difference is that Carlos managed to stick around longer than Uncle Pete. Man, the whole Cabin Group deserved better.

I mean FUCK!!!!!!!!Well most of season 1's characters die, but it doesn't feel forced. Its how you write it. But then again a lot more characters survived season 1 so fuck it.

To be fair, had Nick's development fully played out, it would have been in the running for the strongest character in the entire TWD franchise.

Always remember, the cabin group survived two years in the apocalypse and died within a week after meeting Clem.

Doesn't that make it even worse then that he got cock-slapped into determinant status before that could happen?
