To me GTA is hugely over rated, I mean it's fun and polished but the only part of the gameplay that beats out any other open world game is the driving, even just walking around feels weird and tanky and the only weapons that have any real punch are the explosives. And the story is alright, but it doesn't even compare to any narrative focused games and is fairly forgettable other than a few key moments.
Also the car damage models are so damn good in it.

I mean tbh I prefer GTA V over TLOU. TLOU has good story but pretty bad gameplay in my opinion, GTA V has good story and great gameplay. I'm curious, what didn't you like about the gameplay in TLOU? Honestly, I don't see the appeal of GTA's story(or it's *ahem* "satire" for that matter), and the gameplay seems like... more or less any other open world game but just polished and with more bells and whistles. I'm not a big fan of the Tomb Raider-esque walking and climbing that you have to do at some points, and I find the stealth quite frustrating, especially when it's so hard to kill Clickers early on. I never got very far into it for that reason.

I can understand getting frustrated at the stealth though, that part sneaking through the town with Bill was a nightmare my first try.

There's probably less of it as the game goes on, but like I said, I never got very far.

I actually quite like the difficulty curve in TLOU. Sometimes it feels like a lot of games are too easy these days.

Always thought Tlou was overrated. Gameplay is meh at most, and I didn't think story was as great as everyone says. Would take Gta over it easily

Ngl, Last of Us multiplayer is probably my favorite shooter multiplayer of all time. It's JUST weighty and strategy based enough to fit my style.
