I miss the polls where people could rate the episode.
After episode 3, which was a little too much for me with the tons of story twists, I really liked this one. Looking forward to the conclusion. Unlike the other people here, I really liked the Joker design, it seems like he has yet to become the Joker. I'm sure Telltale will give him his feature red grin and make him look horribly crazy when they incorporate them into S2 or sth like that.

It's SO refreshing to hear people appreciate Telltale's Joker. Like you said, I don't feel he's REALLY Joker yet, the whole lack of lipstick and everything most likely setting up for that. I'm really interested to see what Telltale does with his backstory.

Though maybe I missed something since I haven't kept too much up to date with the Batman threads recently.

It is setting up a story for the second season (I'm sure of that). Was the reception really that negative on the web?

Vicki as Lady Arkham felt like a twist for the twist's sake. It was unpredictable because it was forced to be unpredictable. There was no foreshadowing that she would be Lady Arkham. I recently replayed the first three episodes and there is zero foreshadowing. Joker being in Arkham makes sense because he is crazy. I just didn't expect such an iconic character to make an appearance that late into the series. I liked it, because it felt organic in how it connected with the story. At least to me.

Oh yeah, the Vicki twist was so shit, turned a potentially interesting character into a boring villain because " what a twist!"

They decided it'd be better for the villain to be someone we know/trust, instead of someone new, no matter if it was random or not. I actually liked Joker's presence. In fact, the Arkham Asylum story was probably the only part I truly enjoyed of Episode 4. Everything after that, stunk. But yeah, it totally makes sense he'd be in there, and for him to form a relationship with Bruce is pretty interesting.

Though I thought the fact Vicki was in the GCPD in Ep. 2 kind of foreshadowed it, seeing as it was most likely her that drugged Montoya into killing Falcone. Anways though. I'm probably thinking we won't see Joker again until the very end of Episode 5 when he'll most likely become the main antagonist of Season Two.

And I chose not to romance Selina hoping that my Bruce would end up with Vicki. A shame. She was such an interesting character. Didn't seem like a sexualized stereotype like Selina.

Guess I'm probably the only one who liked the Vicky Vale twist.
But anyways, yeah, I do like Telltale's version of the Joker. Weird seeing him without his usual lipstick and costume, but guess I'm been getting to used to the Mark Hamill version of him who is pretty much my favorite version ever. Probably second to the Dark Knight version. Also, interesting that this was the first time that Joker met Bruce first before he eventually meets Batman.

I always hear that Mark Hamill's version is fantastic, but I just can't take him serious in that cartoon.

I played those, I really liked the first one, and I agree, his joker version in Arkham Asylum was impressive. Didn't care too much about the sequels, though. Arkham City was just decent and the ones after that were boring imo. I know I'm an outsider with that opinion, but I really didn't like them.

I think not liking Batmans after the 2nd one is the popular opinion actually. They were pretty shit
