Lucius, the Bat Signal, upgrades, the Children of Arkham creating more trouble in the streets of Gotham... Well, this oughta be a fun night. Also, I noticed in the last screenshot where Batman is going toe-to-toe with the masked leader, his suit is badly damaged. Either this guy is really tough or Bruce needs to upgrade his armor. Or both.

Harvey's not Two-Face in this screenshot...god I'll actually be impressed with Telltale if they decide to go a whole different route with his character if we saved him over Selina.

Does anyone else feel like very few people are playing this? That's not even a forum dig. Maybe I'm just misinformed because I don't align myself with the proper channels that would prove the opposite to me. I rarely see Batman shit reblogged on Tumblr. I don't frequent the Telltale boards anymore so I can't say what the traffic over there looks like. It's more of a gut feeling. It's strange because Batman has a following similar to Walking Dead. How can a franchise like this perform so underwhelming? Again, I could be wrong. I don't have any numbers or anything like that to back up what I'm saying. Looks like the steam sales are piss poor - it hasn't even broken 100k. For the record, GOT and TFTBL made it to about 575-600k sales. Minecraft sold poorly on steam, but they had the younger audience who likely used consoles to a greater extent.

HOOO LEE FFUUUUCCI'm literally Hitler!!!! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ENDING?! I mean, yes this IS Telltale, the guys who made LOADERBOT the mysterious Stranger, but making FUCKING VICKI THE COA'S LEADER?! God I don't think I've enjoyed a Telltale episode this much since Tales! I can't WAIT to see what they have planned for the last two episodes! Mah choices:

Holy son of a motherfucker! This episode was a really good one. It was also cool to meet with Lucius Fox, and I liked how Dave Fennoy voiced for him, like he did in "Batman: Arkham Knight". I was surprised that the Children of Arkham were using Wayne Tech to be one step ahead of GCPD. I was a little concerned they may have figured out Batman's secret as well, but thankfully, they didn't. I was hoping that saving Harvey would change his fate, that he wouldn't become Two-face, but he's already showing signs of changing. The drug he was injected with must've affected him more than I thought. Especially after his outburst in his office and that awkward moment of getting caught with my pants off. And the leader of the Children of Arkham was actually Vicki Vale?! I did not see that coming at all. I really fucked up. I thought I knew what I was doing in the previous two episodes, but now I really regret my decisions to handing her the Falcone data and giving her Montoya's name, and I have to live with all that. Goddamn it, I trusted her and then I get drugged for it. This is just like that whole mess with Jefferson back in "Life is Strange". I trusted him, and I get drugged for that, too. Where the hell did Vicki, or should I call her Lady Arkham, get all that gear and learn to fight like that anyways? One things for sure, shit just got real. MY CHOICES:-I chose to back up Harvey and let Montoya face danger alone. Figured it would be more important to help out the new mayor. -I kept my composure when provoked by Oswald. There's a time and place for everything. As much as I would've like to hit him, I'll leave that to Batman. -I had Lucius quit and work full-time for Batman. Thought it would be safer for him that way. -I spent the night with Selina. Those two kids are nuts for each other. -I refused to physically attack Harvey. I'm not ready to give up on him just yet.

Cool episode but the twist was weird asf. Seems like something they randomly wanted to throw in the third episode.

Loader Bot being the Stranger didn't really make any sense but it was fun so I didn't mind it too much. This one is just bizarre and doesn't make much sense to me.

Isn't Vicki Vale an existing character in the Batman universe? Seems pretty out there to me. Honestly a shocker for shocker's sake. Like, "look at us with our crazy, unexpected female villain!!!!!!!!"
Still enjoying the series regardless. Story is progressing a little slowly, but whatever.

Now Brucey is stuck with catwoman.

Is... no one considering that it might be a trick? I don't know, I still think that that's possible. Give us a shocker ending like that, and then completely switch things around in Episode 4.

(if it isn't a trick though I'll be a bit upset because that does mean the only option for a romantic relationship is Selina and while I really do like Selina as a character, I still don't like the Selina/Bruce romance)

Anyway: Thoughts:I thought this was a really good episode. Yeah, that's all I've got really. I think Batman is going to be a pretty solid "Second Tier" Telltale Series for me, alongside GoT and TWD S2. I like that they're doing some unique things, building their own Batman universe... At this point, I'd like to see Season 1 of Batman as setting up the feel of Telltale's version of the DC universe, but then do some better stuff with a second season, or maybe even series' based on other DC characters. I'm invested, I like the characters, the story, and I hope this will be a solid first season. That's... just the impression this left me with.
I will say - I don't like how Gordon seems less reactive to choices in this episode than in episode 2. And the extent of Harvey being crazy... although, I don't know how different that is to Two-Face Harvey. Choices:-Listened to Harvey vent. I thought it would be good for him to just get all of it off his chest. -Helped Montoya. She seemed more in need of help... though it was a tough decision. Plus, it seemed like it would be a harder hit to the children of arkham. -Kept my composure in front of Oz. I mean... it would be pretty stupid to punch him. -Told Lucius to stay at Wayne Enterprises. Again, a really hard choice, but I figured Bruce needs a man on the inside. -Kept a platonic relationship with Selina. I like her and Bruce as friends, just can't get behind the romantic relationship there. -Didn't hit Harvey. I still have some hope for him..... maybe. -Stuck to the teleprompter... Although I guess it didn't matter much.

I guess mmaaayybbeee someone could have disguised themselves as Vicki in order to frame her, but what would the point of that be? It all adds up to her being the Children of Arkham's leader, seeing as her being at the GCPD in Ep. 2 makes perfect sense now as she was the one who drugged Montoya, plus the fact that she constantly seems to be intent on exposing Bruce fits pretty well with the COA's desire to ruin all the Waynes' reputation.
