Also, what if the girls were burned by fire tho? That's what I'm thinking. Maybe wherever she left her kids ended up being burned down with them inside?

I have this strange feeling that if players killed Randall off, another character will stand in for him. Like, Paige or some shit. Sounds unbelievable, I know, but it crossed my mind upon seeing that picture.
And, as for the trailer... I don't know who else is canon from the boat group (apart from Michonne and Pete), but they're definitely dead.
What's funny is that the trailer hints at the fact that the game will try to make us care for the characters. I don't know how on Earth will TT try to accomplish that, since episodes 1-2 didn't even have any proper setup for them. Ep3 is advertised as series finale, except there's, like, NOTHING that builds up to this moment. Everything we were shown up to this point was rushed and underdeveloped.
EDIT: One more thing - Norma says that she'll do to the boat group whatever we did to Randall. That's great! The game, just like many TT titles before, pins the blame on us that Randall's hurt. Except... we don't have any choice in that matter. His head is bashed in the QTE fight and his hands are crushed with a vice at first without our interference. Nice job, TT. Nice job!

I was honestly really frustrated that we didn't at least get a "he's hurt, but I only did it in self-defense" type choice. If you admit he's hurt, then Michonne sounds smug about it. :/
Also, I know that at least Siddiq is canon, too.

I'm not really interested in playing it, but I'll probably play it.
I bet if Randall's dead, you have to trade Sam for the group or something.

So TTG basically confirmed to us that their choices don't matter, even if you killed Randall, still the same outcome.

misread 'fun on the shore' as 'fuck you'
I don't know how I managed that but it made the achievements seem a lot more notable

Well that was complete and utter shite, straight up the worst TellTale episode I've ever played and that's saying something. It felt like they just ran out of ideas so they lopped off the end of episode 2 and sold it as an episode, and everything goes exactly as I and probably many others thought it would.
This has pretty much removed any hope I had of TWDS3 being any good, TTG have no fucking clue what they're doing with the series. So yeah I give this episode a 3/10 and the entire season a 4/10.

I just finished the last episode of the mini-series. I did like talking to that guy, Oak, in that flashback the beginning. It was nice being able to have a calm moment before talking to Norma about trading Randall. Which I knew was gonna turn out bad since I bashed his head in. I felt bad for Alex and James when I was talking with them. Makes me worried what they'll become with everything that's happened.
That last confrontation with Norma was intense. I was trying real hard not to fuck up with the negotiating, and then all hell broke loose as soon as she saw her brother's undead face. But I bet even if I spared him, he would've still tried to kill us all. When the house started burning and Michonne was hallucinating again, I'm like "No, not now! Not here!" But I guess they sorta guide her in the right directions to get to the boys.
I would say that I'm (sort of) satisfied with how it ended, but I would've liked it to have lasted longer than it did.
MY CHOICES: -I helped Sam bury her dad. The guy deserved that much. -I told Alex that a bad man hurt his dad. He deserved to know the truth, but I wanted to be gentle about it. -I handed Randall over to Norma. I tried to negotiate best way I could without tempting anyone to fire any more bullets. -I ended Norma's suffering. I, too, can be reasonable. -I left the daughters. I didn't want to give in to the illusions of them, and I could tell that if I did, then Sam would've probably died. Hell no would I let that happen.

Ok could somebody please give a link of a gameplay in which the one playing isn't a c*nt who choose to kill Randall in Episode 2 ? I would appreciate it. As for the episode itself it help to further proof that Monroe's group weren't the bad guys*, in the gameplay I saw it wasn't even clear wheter Norma would try to attack Michonne's group if Randall was handed to them (though knowing TTG all to well I'm gonna guess that it if you hand them Randall Norma will do a 360º and attack you anyways). Also another character played by Cissy Jones to get killed in a Telltale game, though here it was very well justified do to her being "the villain" (more like a designated villain).
They tried to pull of some moving momments with the option to talk with Sam's little brothers but it kind off fell flat compared to how it was done in the much better first season. The ending felt very underwhelming but it was refreshing that for once you could actually get an ending that wasn't a total downer, I know is The Walking Dead but having always an ending in which all but the main character died was getting old.
*Apparently if you let Randall leave he calls you out for the obvious double standards, too bad lampshading your problems doesn't make them go away...
