Nah, that's not the case. Telltale thinks that people liked Season 1 because it was like interactive TV, and not because of the roleplaying aspects, so they've since worked to make their future games after Season 1 emulate something similar to TV shows in pacing. They regard the fact that people can play their episodes in one sitting as a selling point, and think that people aren't fans of longer episodes. I personally disagree, but that's their reasoning anyways. if that's the case they should realize most tv shows have more than 5 episodes in them to account for everything that happens. They also come out weekly, as well. Yeah, I wish Telltale would make episodes more self contained.

Congrats, Michonne. You're going to successfully destroy the home of many innocent people because you think you matter more. Truly a protagonist I can root for. A main character for the ages. Well, that's accurate to the comic version of Michonne, hence why she isn't a good character in the comics.

So I watched a playthrough on the internet because I can't still bother to buy the DLC... Seriously, spoilers. Seems like TTG has a fetish of forcing the playabale character and it's groups into the heart of a "hostile" community (which happens to contain many innocent people and children) so to force a escape plan that obviously involves the total destruction of what had previously being a fully functional and relativelly safe haven for the very few survivors that are left. They also seem to flanderize characters a lot, IDK about the rest but Randall here felt more like the typicall villain and seem to have lost some depth relative to Episode 1, and yet in spite off all effort by TTG to ruin his characters it appears most people has spared him in their playthroughs. Also it seems that Norm hasa kinda of confirmed that her group was the culprit of the Mobjack massacre. My last point is how fishy some things are... They are those little details like having two differents versions of the way Sam's mother died told by different characters as well as the last speech Randall gave that seem kinda of iffy. I found it very weird... I wouldn't be surprissed if we got some short of reveal in the last episode... Also almost forgot, the fact that Pete and Michonne have plot armor really does decrease a lot of the tension the game has. Which is kinda of bad because while rather flat characters I dofund them at least somewhat relatable, the fact that they can't die 'cuz CANNON, really does lower the emotional stakes of the game. That is why GOT worked better then this, the ENEMY WAS CANON! So you felt kinda fucked because you couldn't beat him. Here, you are immortal, YOU can't die because of canon, it doesn't work as well.

Telltale Has A Head Trauma Fetish I know it's hard to avoid, because it's TWD after all, but they truly seem to have a thing for heads and arms. Heads are bashed or blown away (especially in Michonne, I already lost count) and hands/arms are cut away. It worked during those several early times, but now it's always eye-rolling. I mean, remember when Carver's head was ripped apart? It was a really chilling moment. Now, with this trick overplayed so much, the reactions are like 'Yeah, whatever'. Way to go, TT.

Choices Kept Pete with me because I don't want to be with fucking Sam the entire episode. Didn't matter anyway, did it? Went after the stranger in the hallway, I'm sick and tired of seeing Michonne see her children every 5 seconds. K telltale we get it, she has issues, stop shoving it in our faces. Christ sake. Didn't tell the blonde chick that I nearly committed suicide. I dunno. Let Randall speak to her, I was gonna let him finish his chat but I let go of my mouse so he couldn't finish the convo. Lame. Didn't kill Randall. Best character. Why kill the only good character? Ain't I the belle of the ball? I think the episode is just as bad if not worse than episode 1. I'm interested in episode 3 only because this steaming pile of shit is ending and Randall will be in it, but since he's determinant I'm sure he won't last long. But we'll see. Other thoughts -Lol, shot one flare and the entire community is on fire. The fuck? -Pete is like Kenny, "u dont listen to me goddammit lee, i mean michonne, all u urbans look the same" -Sam is still a boring character and did jack shit this episode to make me like her more. -Sam's father's death was hilarious and then "Peekaboo"
