So I know a few of us have this game, I think I know the basics but not all of it because it's incredibly difficult with a shitty tutorial that doesn't teach you what you need to know. Only a little bit.
There's an AWESOME game of thrones mod that I got the game for, I also got the Ruler Designer DLC so I could make my own family. House Flint, who serves the Starks. The Lord of House Flint, Lord Wendel currently is Robb's Hand of the King. And Robb proposed to my daughter for some reason. I literally did nothing except focus on my own land (Widow's Watch), and then Robb asked to marry my daughter and for me to be the hand of the king. I'm not actually in the war so it's pretty quiet.
My eldest son and heir, Jonnel married some daughter from House Umber. She currently is with Jonnel's child.
My second oldest son, Harlon married a Tarly daughter. They had the wedding bedding and ended up giving birth to a stillborn child. She's pregnant again so I guess they tried again.
My oldest daughter, Leona was the last to get married (except for Aregelle who was betrothed before Leona got married, but Leona got married before Gilliane did). I decided to visit the reach for Leona and Loras Tyrell's wedding. That's where things got interesting. I was invited to the wedding and came across Margaery Tyrell. I ended up visiting her chambers. A 51 year old man had sex with an 18 year old. House Flint left and returned to Widow's Watch while Leona stayed in the Reach with Loras. They had a bedding ceremony so she'll probably be pregnant too.
My second oldest daughter, Aregelle she wanted to get married so I asked Doran Martell if she could marry his son. He said yes, and their wedding is upcomming because they were betrothed. I have the Tyrells, Martells and Robb as allies. I'm surprised I've done this well so far.
My third daughter, Gilliane was asked to be married by Robb for some reason, and Robb asked me to be his Hand of the King. I said yes, and currently Gilliane is the Queen of the North and has Robb's child in her. NOICE.
My third son, Wylis who is like 13, does nothing but gets tutored by the maester, along with his younger brother Howland.
@backtothewalkers Feel free to share your shit here, bruh.

Hell yeah, CK2.
I don't actually really have much to say about my experiences with this, surprisingly enough, but yeah I really love this game. Currently playing as a English duchess and have been cheating on my husband with a lot of other men, even trying to seduce the Pope at one point. If I can seduce my son when he's old enough I might try that too, just for the hell of it. Also been trying to get more land for a bigger army to take over the rest of England with, preferably when they're at war with a bunch of other people too.

I'm goin to start a new game with a new neutral house soon, but I played as Stannis once.
I almost lost at start already, but few thausand sellswords I hired saved my ass. After a few months, I got message from the wall that they need help. I sent 5k men there, and they destroyed Mance's army. Meanwhile, I conquered lots of Stormlands, Robb randomly died, I didn't even realise at first. Many lords joined me in war against Joffrey. War was going well, until my ally, lord of Tarth died of old age. Brienne became new ruler of Tarth, and immediately started war against me. I retaliated quickly, and conquered Tarth, then burned Brienne at stake.
Iron bank contacted me and offered to give me a loan. Earlier, I sent Davos to ask the Golden company for help. They agreed to join me, along with Daario's Storm crows and some other mercenary groups, for the gold I got from Bank. Daario became my best military commander after that.
I finnally gathered all my troups at Dragonstone, and my fleet attacked King's landing from the Blackwater, managing to conquer it. But war wasn't over yet. Joffrey managed to escape, but I imprisoned many Lannisters. I released most of them, making Tyrion my good friend. Also, Jaime started to lead my armies for some reason. Then, Tywin counter attacked and destroyed half of my forces before having to retreat. That pissed me off. I sent some men to get through see and attack Casterly Rock, where Tywin was. Rest of my men went to fight Tyrells, who were second biggest threat. Then, I hired a faceless man that assasinated Joffrey and Margaery, so their 4 year old daughter became new queen.
Tywin was winning the fight, but reinforcements from wall came in time and I conquered Casterly Rock, and executed tywin. Tyrion was his heir and we were bros 4 life. Stannis himself himself was leading attack on Tyrells and won, Most of them got executed for betrayal, but didnt have men to get revenge.
There were only few small battles after that, until I won the war and took the throne. I had a small rebelion after that, but they got rekt. After some time of peace and not doing shit, I gathered a army to conquer Mereen. Buuuut, Stannis died of old age, and his teenager son took the throne. That caused another rebelion and I didnt feel like playing after that.

Also does it work with Windows 7? I might just buy it.

I'm now in 8304. My second-born son Harlon died of depression. :/ And Wendel was born a bastard to Margaery Tyrell, she got married to some dude and stopped missing me (she complained I didn't see her much cause she was at the fucking Reach and I was in the North leading some of Robb's armies) Wendel fell in love with some Courtier named Beth, visited her chambers and poof, a bastard named Jonella Snow was born. Wylis, my third son decided to take the black. I said ok, and he left to take the black. Hopefully he makes friends with Jon Snow. Wylis didn't care much for fighting when I told Robin, my master-at-arms to train my children. But he wants to be a brother of the Night's Watch later on, so whatever. And Aegon Targaryen has invaded Westeros. Since Robb isn't against Aegon (not yet at least) I decided to call him the true king. Also, I married Sansa after Joffrey was poisoned. Sansa was happy that she was back in the North. She gave birth to Joffrey's child. I could declare war on Tommen, but then I'd probably get rekt hard. And then Wendel got Sansa pregnant so, that's cool.

Good enough for me, how does it play? Is it like Mount and Blade? Or more like Total War or Civilization? Any tips? You said the tutorial is awful.

You said the tutorial is awful. Not really sure what Mount and Blade or Total War are like. It's kind of like Civ, a little bit. It's a similar style of game, but you're not usually in big wars. Sometimes you are. A lot of the time you're trying to take land through marriage, seduction, murder, etc to get yourself or your heir onto a throne. For learning it, well, I've just found out about a beginner's guide on the wiki, you can click links of anything that it doesn't explain well enough to go to the articles about them
Anything you see in the game that isn't really mentioned in that guide will probably explain itself well enough if you hover the mouse over it.

Total War is like Civilization with a much greater focus on massive battles you command, and Mount and Blade is you controlling a commander that leads soldiers into battle. Thanks for the info though, it helps.

Update. Lotta shit happened.
Sansa gave birth to my son, named Wendel the Second. She died soon after due to pneumonia. A few years later, I married Myrcella Baratheon and she gave birth to a child named Roose Flint.
I had a plan in motion. I set up a plot to kill Tommen Baratheon. Luckily I had enough gold (took pretty much all of it) to hire a Faceless men. And Tommen was killed. Joffrey and Sansa's son Tymeon Lannister became the King. Even though he's fucking four years old. Tymeon had been at Widow's Watch, my home for his whole life. I had to make a terrible decision and come up with a plot to kill him as well. This had many supporters, so I feel like we don't even have to call the Faceless Men for this one.
If the plan works, I should become the King since I am married to Myrcella. I'll let you know what happens next.
