Question: Why is the first chapter called Orbit? Orbit
Reference to the fact Mitchell was missing an eye. Barely an important name, but you could also take it as Freya's life surrounding Sanctum like a planetary orbit.

Question: How come Silas left his family? Why didn't he bring them to Sanctum? (I forgot how to spell it so I'm not sure if that's right)

Well if they runned tests on Hector's mother (either with or without her consent) I can't imagine Silas family being particullary safe in Sanctum.
Or maybe it's just that they haven't got rid of all the patients yet and he found it too dangerous to move it's family there.
Could just be because he didn't want his family to take part with the whole capture, keeping and dissposing of the test subjects.
Could be other reasons. That's just the ones I came out so far...

Question: How come Silas left his family? Why didn't he bring them to Sanctum? (I forgot how to spell it so I'm not sure if that's right) At the start they only wanted people who were experienced and could contribute. While they were desperate for Silas's expertise, they weren't willing to accommodate his family at that time. Sanctum as we saw it in Ep2 was a lot more desperate and its strict guidelines on who to let in had already started to crumble.
Silas thought he'd be in and out of Sanctum in a month at the longest, so he left his family somewhere he 'knew' they would be safe (likely with his original group or something which was composed of family and friends). However, when things at Sanctum dragged on he repressed the fact he even had a family so he didn't find himself wondering whether or not they were alive every minute of every day. That's why he only makes reference to them just before he dies in Season 3; he's stopped repressing them.
Also his whole goal with Vince's group was "kill them all so I can go find Freya without worrying that Vince's group will ruin things again." He just didn't know it.

I don't have the energy to put a unique spin on a participation post so here it is.

Guess who's back. Not 100% satisfied with this chapter, but it did what it needed to do. I had trouble thinking of a way Silas could get the general location of the mall without killing Hector. I just settled on him 'crippling' Hector and leaving him to die, and Hector pretending the injury was worse than it actually was.
I won't blame people for disliking this chapter.

Is he who I think he is?
Yep.
"little rat faced shit"
Silas nailed it with that comment...
I wasn't much of a fan of Hector, but this POV was interesting, also it finally explained how Silas got his scar...
