TBH the constant shitting on this game is making me consider leaving this forum as well as the TTG one. Can't get any decent fucking discussion on here without it being derailed to how it's 'shit' or 'tftbl/lis is better'. There's constant GoT shitting here? I can only think of aldimon off the top of my head. Never really understood the favoritism one way or another. When GoT is releasing I don't think to myself "fuck this, I wish TFTBL was releasing today instead" or any other variation. I play and enjoy what I'm given when I'm given it. Then again, I've never been one for breaking stuff down and judging the quality in general. Unless something is eye-poppingly poor (Nick, Sarah) I like pretty much everything once I get into it. As a GoT side, I'm surprised the majority of players elected to have Rodrik stay being. I picked to move on with Asher, but it does seem to make more sense to leave him behind. Maybe it's all those Tumblr girls that play and think Asher is hotter or something. I'll add DF to the list too, but yeah, other than that I really haven't seen this GoT bashing around here. However, I will say that discussion here in both GoT and TFTBL are a bit lacking. As in, waaaaay off the rails sometimes.

I don't think I'd ever consider leaving the forums. Honestly, even though I do get a bit annoyed by some of the hate for GOT, I tend to ignore it mostly. I do wish we could have more discussion about it, but whatever. It's like 1 in the morning, I don't even know why I'm still here, my opinion will probably be completely different in the morning....

Yes, the alternative of staying on topic and having insightful and well thought out conversations over the topic these threads were originally created for is just bone-chillingly horrifying.

I think a balance can be attained somewhere. There can't just be the extremes of completely off the rails nonsensical thread non sequiturs and humorless, personality-less, dry wallpaper discussion that makes ones eyes glaze over. This place wouldn't have survived as long as it has if that were the case.

Indeed. But lately we've been ending up on different planets, figuratively speaking.

Indeed. But lately we've been ending up on different planets, figuratively speaking. One game is a comedy, the other one is a fantasy drama. It's understandable we all are on different planets. But I have to say I'm looking forward to the GOT finale. There's a lot to wrap up, though.

Hopefully I can give Gryff's face a makeover with my boot while I'm shoving the Forrester Greatsword so far down his father's throat that he starts shitting it out. No need to thank me for that mental image, your infinite adoration is already implied.

My Grandma finally played/watched me play the episode. She didn't want to make a choice at the end and just told me to. So Asher died again.

Sometimes I try to get here to make a decision if it isn't timed, but I've given up on the timed choices. Although, sometimes, she's really sure about stuff. Ripping Gren's arm off, leaving Sarah to die, not shooting Kenny, not killing the Crooked Man, etc. I forced her to make a choice at the end of each Season of TWD. She chose to have Clem shoot Lee at the end of S1, and to stay at Wellington without Kenny at the end of S2.

My family would prefer killing someone instead of playing games What frustrates me is that my family is kind of into Telltale stuff and some of the comics I read(My Mom is actually reeeeaaally into The Walking Dead, in some ways more than I am. She's certainly more enthusiastic about the comics and Fear the Walking Dead), but only as far as me telling them about it. Examples, my Dad loves Outcast. Won't read it. He just likes for me to tell him about each issue, and he's looking forward to the show. He's interested in Silent Hill. Won't play it. My mom won't play the Telltale episodes for TWD, even though she knows the characters and even got mad at me for spoiling the end of Season Two(even though she won't play it).

BE CAREFUL, OFFTOPIC AS FUCK! My whole family thinks that games are the reason why people go to schools to kill innocent people, why people have no friends and stay alone all day at home, literally everything which has something to do with violence or insults and whatever the fuck. The list is long and just thinking about it makes me wanna punch in my screen. And the worst thing, you can't argue with them. I could have a more informative conversation with a russian in CS:GO. They don't listen to my points, they won't even try it and the worst, they keep judging me with their stupid narrow-minded opinion. The games I play are "stupid", "dull", "for children" (oh yea, that's why only people older than 18! are allowed to play it, makes sense mother....), they keep saying "that's not real Michael", "you live in your own world", "can't you do something useful" and blablabla. I mostly laugh about if because the things they watch in the TV are so embarrassing that I can't even describe it but HEY, watching TV and playing games are SUCH a biiiiiiiiiiiig difference - sure.... When I started to collect my Clem stuff they were like: "WTF, how can you be a fan of an unreal person???" They'll never understand it and the explanation "they are too old/the wrong generation for this" is just a stupid excuse - I don't even know of what they're afraid. However, I'm glad to hear that there is/are still cool family/parents who participate in the things we love
