C'mon Bio, have some hope. Everyone thought 343 would screw up Halo 4 and it was pretty good! Also judging from my expierience with the Halo 5 beta, 343 may turn out better than Bungie! It's not lack of faith, okay its a bit of faith, but I just don't see how it could work. Either you use the two cities we got, and by this point, there is not much new stuff we can tell, or you run the risk of making your own city. The latter is just a bad idea, because I swear the only reason 2K Marin didn't do that with Bioshock 2, was because they themselves were afraid of doing that, and they had every right to be scared of that idea. That, and I really, really don't trust 2K with what they will do with the fates of certain characters, by which I mean, the ending of Burial at Sea was depressing as fuck, but fitting, and tied everything together. I would not put it past them to, say, resurrect a certain character I really really like. Which you would think I would be all over, but no not really, it would make one of the most emotional moments in gaming history moot and pointless, it wouldn't feel right. Irregardless, I can't truly start complaining until they announce something, but until then, I continue to wish that they let this franchise rest at the bottom of the sea, something its more then earned. Unless its a Telltale Bioshock game, then that would be okay with me. I have to dissagree to some extent. I dont think its a matter of if they could do another city, its if they can pull it off, and quite honestly i liked Bioshock 2, for its Single-Player and even its Multiplayer, i found both enjoyable. As long as they do it right, im okay with it.

I just don't think they can do another city, I mean first off, where are you going to go? Underground is the only place, space was already done back in System Shock. Second, what about all the other details? The small bits matter quite a lot in this series. I just don't think this series can survive without it's creator, and the original team, I could be wrong, but I just don't think it will work out.

Again i have to dissagree, i enjoyed the story of Bioshock 2 and thought it was good. The developers often think of things we dont, all im saying is its not a matter of if its posible, its if they can pull it off, and that is a real possability. Either that or they could make a Bioshock collection and remaster the games and put them on Next Gen, which i would also be okay with.

I would much prefer that, I mean god, they ported Bioshock to I-Pad, why anyone would play Bioshock on an I-Pad is beyond me. I for one don't see why everyone hates rereleases for next gen systems, they are not backwards compatible, it's the only way.

Or hell, even continue from the ending of Bioshock 2, which was kind of open ended. I really wouldn't want to see them do anything more with Columbia or Rapture(unless, of course, we get a Telltale Bioshock about the Rapture Civil War), but I've no problem with them continuing from Bioshock 2, or just making a new city entirely. They could use the Kowloon Walled City as inspiration, it's fascinating.

Obligatory, "Bioshock 2 > Bioshock Infinite" comment here. Seriously, I still hold that the only thing Infinite has on any other Bioshock game is that it has better main character. And that's it. The story is worse, the gameplay is worse, and even the side characters and villain are worse. And I really don't see what Bioshock 2 took from Bioshock(aside from the setting, but even then, they did some very interesting things with that). It's basically a complete reversal of the theme, and the story is more focused on Eleanor and Delta as characters(though it doesn't succeed in characterizing a silent protagonist as well as something like Transistor, it still does quite well in that aspect). It also reveals some new things about the past of Rapture. I also really quite liked the story, and the gameplay is unquestionably the best of the "shooty" Bioshocks, a.k.a everything but Burial at Sea Part Two, which seriously made me question why the Bioshock Series wasn't a stealth game because the stealth worked incredibly well in that.

I'm just going to act like that first sentience didn't exist. Well here's a tiny little problem with continuing from Bioshock 2, that seemingly being that 2K Marin doesn't exist anymore, you can blame that third person Xcom game for that. Besides, i'm not so certain Bioshock 2 is even canon anymore. I mean I am well aware that people from Irrational worked on Bioshock 2, but the most important people didn't, and I suppose they have the say in what is canon and not? And on that note, the actual creator himself, has pretty much stated that Bioshock 2 never happened, could be wrong, but continuity is a fairly large question mark on that game. I just personally fail to see why the series must go on, the company that made it is no more, the creator has another project in mind. And the other studios that helped make it, 2K Australia, 2K Marin, are disbanded. Hell now that I think about it, did they even announce the fact they are doing another Bioshock? I know they own the name and all that, and they said they would continue to use it, but doesn't ports and remasters count as that? It doesn't matter, if they were going to do another Bioshock, it won't be announced any time soon, as I don't believe any studio has expressed any mention of being given the licence.

We have largely different ideas of fun, Sonic. Mostly that last one puts me off. Really? You're not excited for Starfox, more Smash character,Fallout 4 or Bioshock 4? I agree with most of the list (the bold ones). I'm interested in hearing about Fallout 4, more Smash, and Mirror's Edge 2. Nothing else quite interests me.

Just a poll recommendation. Say which conference we're looking forward to most, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, EA, Bethesda, or Square Enix.

Bethesda, it's the only one I'm definitely going to watch live, I'll see about the others.
