How can she become Empress? I said already. You just have to take her to her father. You have the choice at Kaer Morhen, to go kill witches and that Wild hunt general immediately, or to go to Emhyr. If you go to him, Ciri survives and Nilfgaard wins the war, she will be an empress. Okay.

That explains why Ciri lived for me, then. I was nice to her, but always let her make her own decisions, even if it meant she'd be in harms way. Also, the DLC will probably be about the Crone that survived.

Basically the whole ending sequence in Geralt going back to Velen to hunt down the Crone and take back Ciri's/Vesemir's Medallion. Once he finds it, it ends on a shot of Geralt in the hut, and zooms out showing a fuck-ton of monsters closing in on him. The Crone says a lot of stuff like how she knows that Geralt just wants to die, and he's suffering and has nothing to live for, and the fact that he just sits there letting the monsters get closer kind of leaves you to believe that the Crone is right... Geralt just want to die.

So the Crone living was just for an ending? That's disappointing.

So the Crone living was just for an ending? That's disappointing. Honestly it's better than adding something like that in just for the purpose of selling DLC.

So... I'm wondering how the two planned Expansions will work with the story. Will it take place after the main story?

Likely during it, like Mass Effect 3.

Well, I saw the "threesome" scene.
That was pretty hilarious.

Are there any important changes to the story if the Baron lives?

Damn, just finished the fight at Khaer Morhen.... It was epic but Vesemir.... He was one of my favorites It was not a death worth for a great guy like him. I hope we can fuck this stupid Wild Hunt up! Am I the only one who thinks that they're pretty weak in general - compared to the other monsters? I'm playing on the 2nd highest difficulty and I never had problems fighting a bunch of them but sometimes even one "normal" monster gives me a hard time.

I'm so relieved! I thought Ciri was dead.... When she jumped into the portal I almost cried because I was worried that I had to see her die.
The end fights were pretty easy in my opinion.
