FUCKING HYPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE its coming back baby O shit always thought that looked cool, might start watching it. The first two Seasons have a lot of shortcomings, but they do have some good episodes (Mostly focusing on the Clones or all out warzones) but once you get into the third season it starts getting good, and from then on gets really good. Dave Fennoy even shows up as a Jedi during what is essentially Star Wars Vietnam for a few episodes in Season 4.

FUCK YEAH IT'S BACK, WE GET CLOSURE! The Mandalorian episodes were consistently some of the best parts of this show, especially with Obi-Wan in Season 5. My hype is higher than it was during the lead up to The Force Awakens. I'm so pumped for Siege of Mandalore.
Side note, this is a very wise move after the controversy of The Last Jedi and the box office flop of Solo. As far as I can tell The Clone Wars was beloved by a very large majority of the fan base before its cancellation (With good reason), so much so that despite being created before Disney's acquisition of the IP it's still canon in the new universe. This is probably one of the best ways they could bring back fans who felt burned by the more recent movies.

The cast of Episode IX has just been announced. Everyone you think is coming back is coming back, Mark Hamill confirmed as we all knew he would be. Hopefully, somehow, even though it's nigh impossible, they can change the hatchet job they did on his character in TLJ. I doubt it but, hey, I want them to at least try to fix it even a little. Billy Dee Williams is confirmed to reprise Lando Calrissian which worries me more than it assures me considering what they've been doing with the OT characters. Also, they'll be utilizing unused footage from The Force Awakens to give Carrie Fisher a spot in the movie (They were given the blessing by Billie Lourd, Carrie Fisher's daughter who has also starred in both sequel films), hopefully to give Leia a graceful exit from the series. Personally I'm glad they decided against using CGI like they did for Tarkin in Rogue One. I just hope they don't try to wring as much screentime as they can out of these unused scenes and just... have her wrap things up as best she can and leave peacefully. Officially pass the torch. I have no clue if that material even exists in these scenes but I just can't stand the thought of them fucking this up like they have so many times already.

"RETURNING AND NEW CAST MEMBERS WILL JOIN TOGETHER FOR THE FINAL INSTALLMENT OF THE SKYWALKER SAGA."
No, Disney. The Skywalker saga ended with ROtJ. This makes absolutely no sense.

The unused footage is a good idea, Rogue One used footage seamlessly of Red and Gold Leader. But I'm still worried, I don't know if that's enough to be satisfying. I really hope it is.

Completely opposite from everyone else, I hope JJ doesn't ruin TLJ with Episode IX
