Huh, guess it was a lot, well regardless, nothing on its final run, which is a bit hard to swallow. I mean, the main actors never got nominated for an Emmy, never, or at least never won to my knowledge. Boardwalk Empire got one this year for writing. I find that strange is all. Jon Hamm was nominated pretty much every season(never won, though. You're right about that.) Same with Amy Pohler, never got one for Parks and Rec, and might not get one for the last season. Also do I need to bring up the fact the Wire only got nominated for two Emmy's, and it was just for writing? Plus the fact they lost both? I still can't even comprehend it.

Jon Hamm will win this year. I'd put $500 on it.
I think I recall Amy Poehler winning something for Parks & Rec, but that might have been a Golden Globe.

I know TC has been watching it, but has anyone else been watching Humans? It's been surprisingly great.

I've been watching a lot of Steven Universe. It's actually quite good.
Also, Humans got renewed for a Second Season, so that's good. That show is freaking awesome. I get the feeling that Humans & Into the Badlands will be better than Halt and Catch Fire and Turn were. And I mean, I still love Halt and Catch Fire, I just feel like it lost steam with Season Two, and it was never good for amc as a network; it barely got renewed for Season Two. And Turn was always awful. From what I hear it's still in limbo for a third season.

Finished watching Steven Universe.
Waiting for new episodes.
Shame it doesn't have a really good villain. Jasper was only really around for a few episodes, we haven't even seen Yellow Diamond yet, and Peridot is just fucking annoying.
Also, I know some people were assholes about the fact that Steven is the only male gem, but I'm honestly curious about that little fact. Like, are all gems female by default(at least in their voice and identity), or do just a staggering amount of them choose to be female, since they choose their physical forms?
I'm just genuinely curious about all of this.
Anyone else watch SU?

Holy shit, that latest episode of Humans almost made me cry. TWICE. The scene with Max praying actually made me have tears in my eyes.... I care about all of these characters so much(except Niska, and Toby. AND JOE. FUUUUUUCK YOU, JOE.) Maxie!

Halt and Catch Fire is setting itself up for a Third Season.... I'd love a third season, but it's likely to not be renewed, and while that was a great season finale, it'd make an awful series finale. I really hope it doesn't get cancelled... I love that show.

A Teaser for a new HBO Series inspired by Red Dead Redemption and Bioshock.
Looks fairly interesting.

A Teaser for a new HBO Series inspired by Red Dead Redemption and Bioshock. Looks fairly interesting. That's not a true statement, it might have aspects of RDR and Bioshock, but is not inspired by them. It's clearly predominately the Michael Crichton book Westworld, and the 1973 film of the same name. But it looks like it will have bits of RDR and Bioshock, which is completely fine by me. Love the original story/film, and I obviously love Bioshock and RDR, so I truly cannot wait!

So..... yes, that's a true statement. Because the show's creator said it.
