Just saw this yesterday with my GF and my family, and it was awesome! I'd put a trailer up, but the story is nothing like the trailer makes it out to be, which isn't a bad thing for once. It's got a pretty good main cast too, such as Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, and even Jose Pablo Cantillo (Martinez) from TWD!

Great movie. I loved the fight scene with Chappie and Hugh Jackman, that shit was intense.

I haven't seen it. I just stopped in to say we should really create a universal movies thread, maybe one for TV too. It'd make things a lot easier.
I still gotta see Elysium before I see Chappie. I thought District 9 was good and it definitely made Neill Blomkamp a director whose movies I'd wanna see in the future. Though, I will say District 9 doesn't have a lot of replay value for me.

Trust me, Chappie's good. If you've ever seen The Iron Giant, it's like an R-rated version of that.

Am I the only one who walked out disappointed? I LOVE District 9, and Elysium was pretty good, nowhere near as good but whatever, this though... who's idea was it to hire that band as street gangsters? Somebody tell me so I can remove there teeth for being moronic! Seriously, this video sums it up for me.

I think Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead need their own threads, tho. Oh, no doubt. Completely agree. I think it'd just be nice to have if we wanted to drop a line about a random show we might be watching and want to recommend or if we saw a movie and wanted to share our thoughts. I know a few forums I've been on have a "last movie you saw and rate it" thread, which is pretty cool. Shows that garner a ton of discussion though, yeah, definitely need their own threads. And that's not to say I'm saying that this doesn't deserve it's own thread or that I'm trying to be the guy that decides what warrants a thread or what doesn't. By all means whatever anyone wants to do is fine by me. Just thinking out loud.

Seriously, this video sums it up for me. ive Been disagreeing with jeremy lately and that usually doesnt happen I agree with his usually, but sometimes I disagree, like I thought Fury was better then he gave it credit, and I thought both Big Hero 6 and Frozen were better then he gave credit, but most of the time its about on par, which is far more then I can say for most review websites *cough IGN cough*
