So, I'm not sure if any of you had ever heared about this game or have any interst on it but I had been itching to make a thread about it regardless since Christmas.
The game, developed by Expansive Works, is currently in Early Access and cost around 20$ (30$ after full release). It's a Survival Hunting game taking place in Primal Eden, an island in a extraterrestial planet inhabited by lovely critters such as Utahraptors, Triceratops and ofc the allmighty (and lighltly fearthered ) Tyrannosaurus rex.
When you start the game you do it with a pretty awfull camouflage, a PDA known as "Settler mate" and a wooden bow with 10 arrows. In order to obtain better gear you will have to explore the island taking loot from the chests laying around the island as well as several desserted areas scattered around the island, all the while while avoiding beign eaten by any wandering dinosaurs. Once you have get a decent enough gear you can start to became more agressive and actually go after those pesky Archosaurs. So far the game doesn't include a crafting system but an in-game store was recently added in which you obtain the needed money by killing and bagging dinosaurs.
So far it only has Online mode altough it allows everybody to host their own private games if they wish to, the game has both a cooperative and PVP mode. So far it doesn't suport dedicated servers.
The game is far from perfect but overall I feel that is very enjoyable and worth it's price tag, it can very tense at time (particullary when you carry a shitty gear), so far there's no hip fire mode so you need to aim your gunsights in order to fire making engaging multiple enemies very challenging at times. The game's engine limits the spotting range to little over 230 meters which can be kinda of a handicap but I don't consider gamebreaking, the game itself while not a graphic masterpiece it's quite good looking and runs pretty smoothly.
And yeah the lovely gal that has been on my avatar for the last weeks is one of the player models in the game ( I had to shamely admits that I had more character selfies than trophy shots ) .
Added video, yep the commetator is kinda annoyingbut at least he is not Pewdiepie.
