I'm not gonna continue watching, but I'm curious, what became of Strand? He's still black

At last, Ophelia has returned and is actually with Walker's people. It's about time she returned. I had feeling she was alive, but was also worried she would turn up dead. And yet she poisons the ranch's Militia, including Nick. Happy reunions are so yesterday, right? Nice to see Strand got the Abigail back, which was apparently filled with walkers in cop uniforms. At least he had a Russian radio friend to talk with. For a little while, at least. It was sad for me to see him burn it down after he just got it back. Things have really come to a head between the Ranch and the Nation. You know what, I blame Jeremiah for the whole feud. I'm glad that he's gone now. I was a little surprised that Nick was the one to shoot him in the head, yet at the same time, I had a feeling it would come to that. I also like that little reveal about Madison's past. Chris Hardwick has always been theorizing that she has a dark past.

Pretty good midseason finale. The scene with Strand talking to the guy on space was really, really, really good. Probably one of my favorite scenes on the whole show.
I don't think the bloodshed will stop, it's either that Walker decides Otto's death isn't enough, or Troy and Jake find out what Madison did. Whatever it is, I cannot wait to see it!
I think Alicia won't be an ally to Madison and Nick for much longer. They both seem to be covering shit up and conspiring to get what they want and Alicia seems to be against that, so she might ally with Jake or even Walker.
This is the best season so far. I'm glad I stuck around.

It... actually wasn't that bad. Keep in mind I haven't seen a single episode of Season 3 thus far (and saw like, the second episode of Season 2), so I turned the channel and the mid-season finale was like 30 mins in, so I missed the first half hour.
And what I saw... it was actually pretty good. It's surprising.
I dunno if I'll actually catch up and start watching, but meh.
It was pretty good. Even tho I had no idea what was going on

"God's a feckless thug." - Strand. That's deep, man.
Quite the two-hour mid-season premiere. There is just so much tension at the ranch. And Troy almost ruined everything by doing what Otto was gonna do. They really should've told the truth about what he's done a long time ago. I was surprised that Nick told him he killed his dad in the middle of the firefight. I thought that Nick or Madison was gonna kill him. I don't know if we'll ever see him again, but I hope to god that we don't. I thought that he actually came back to kill Nick for revenge in killing his father, but it was only a hallucination. Being cooked and dehydrated in a metal box really messed with his head.
Even with Troy exiled, everyone is still butting heads. Mainly about the water situation. But then, seeing how they all came together to dig for more water was reassuring. There may be hope for peace yet.
Happy to see Strand again, as he is caught in a dilemma once again by being in debt to an open market. Typical. I like how he sees Walker and just goes, "Who is this handsome man with you?". Real smooth. That was also a nice moment he had with Madison. The fact that she only says "My children are alive" and that was all he needed to realize that Travis is dead. And she uses Walker's gold to pay off Travis' debt, they are on the way to the dam where Strand last saw Daniel. But, he and Lola got chased out from there in a truck. Not sure if they will still be there, but I really look forward to seeing Madison reunite with Daniel, the immortal stubborn son of a gun.

Holy shit! Did anyone catch "Negro y Azul" from Breaking Bad playing in the bazar? That was fucking awesome!
Both episodes were really good. I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again. Fear The Walking Dead is lately waaaay more interesting than TWD.
Also... Troy may be a psychopath, sadistic and everything you want... but for me, he's still the best character and will always be lol.

This was a good episode. God, was I cringing as Madison was hacking away at that fat walker blocking the sewer.
Seeing Madison reunited with Daniel went as well as I had hoped. That was quite an interesting conversation that Strand had with Efraín. Mainly with their choice of words. That last line that he said before he left, I think that was a quote from something, but I can't remember. I also I really liked that "permed Madison" line he did.
All that negotiating to get the water and all it took was to blow up a water truck (Courtesy of Victor Strand). Now I'm looking forward to seeing the look on Ofelia's face when she hears her dad is alive and to see her reunited with him.

They really should have put Troy down a long time ago. That psycho's been nothing but trouble. Right from the start. I give him props for still caring for his brother Jake, but other than that, there isn't any good in him.
Madison and Nick should've told the truth about what he is and what he's done for his "science". I don't think I'll ever understand why Madison wanted to keep Troy around for, and now because she did and they spared him with every opportunity they had to tell everyone in the ranch the truth about him and kill him, he's lead a massive herd of infected straight to the ranch. Speaking of which, Jake is dead now. The nice brother died and the bad brother is still alive. That shit just ain't fair.
I just really hope that Madison, Strand and Walker get back to the ranch soon so they can help everyone take it back. And there's only three episodes left this season.

This was such a stressful situation Alicia and everyone found themselves in with being trapped in that bunker and no air. I was very worried that Alicia and/or Ofelia might not make it, but I'm relieved that they did.
I was so glad that Madison, Strand and Walker managed to arrive in time to save them. I still can't believe Nick keeps covering for Troy, even after everything. Now the ranch is lost and the group splits up again; Alicia is going off on her own to find a place Jake mentioned with Nick keep an eye on her and Troy tagging along while Madison takes Ofelia to reunite with Daniel. I'm getting anxious as to how this season is gonna end.

No, not Ofelia too. She was bitten the whole time after crawling through the vents just to get the air going again. I had suspected that she was when that one walker got that close to her neck and then she seemed like she was fine. But... Fuck. And I was hoping for a happy reunion. I feel bad for Daniel. So close. He was this close to seeing his daughter again. Just like with Maggie when she was so close to seeing Beth again.
Alicia seems to be doing really fine on her own. Finds a bucket of potatoes, hides from infected in a ball pit, gets her potatoes stolen by a chick who cuts off fingers and yanks out teeth from all infected she kills and shares potatoes with her.
As for Nick, I guess some habits die hard. And by habit I mean drug addiction. He even chugs down a "nucleus from the brain stem" which apparently boosts their adrenaline. Saying it's from pigs don't exactly make it sound less gross. And he drags Troy out in the middle of the night with him to roam with the dead once again. And what is it that Stand had to offer to this Proctor John guy? Really excited to see what happens in the season finale.

So apparently, Strand's deal with Proctor John was to basically sell out Lola and Daniel. Well shit. And if that weren't enough, Nick still keeps lying for Troy, to Daniel's face. He knew it was Troy, but he convinces him that it was Jake. I get that he did that because he knew Daniel would kill Troy if he knew he got his daughter killed. But that left me a little peeved. Alicia and her new friend just got attack by a group of looters. That certainly spoiled their day. Especially since her friend got wounded, and Alicia refused to kill the looters. Of all the people she ends up with, she gets tangled up with Proctor John. Go Dodgers Madison finally done it. She killed Troy. Can't say that I'll miss him. And Strand actually shot Daniel in the face, grazing his cheek and yet he is still alive. Goddamn. Only thing that came to mind as the second half of the finale started was "What the fuck." Wasn't expecting that cabin scene with Christmas music to start playing. At first, I thought it was a flashback, but then I started thinking that it was some sort of fantasy. That was a very tense conversation Nick and Madison had. I was actually surprised that she said the F-bomb to her son like that. Strand almost got Nick and Madison out of the dam, but Lola fucked that all up trying to shoot Strand to avenge Efraín and got herself killed. And Nick pulls a fast one by swiping the detonator from Strand and bargains with the dam. And then another fantasy happens where it seemed like a peaceful normal dinner, right up until things take a bloody twist. The whole standoff was so tense, I thought that Nick was gonna die. Thank God Walker and Crazy Dog were there to buy him more time and Daniel came to bail him out. It was good to see Travis again in that fantasy, even if it wasn't real and was only for a few seconds. But what happened to everyone else? Fucking cliffhangers. Gonna have to wait till Season 4. Regardless, I think this season was very good and I'm looking forward to the next season. But for now, it's onto the Season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead.
