Whoa. This is fucking awesome. Never seen anyone do something like this.
Nice work, Tormundus. So far looks pretty cool. I agree with Harp with the no voice actors thing, it'd save alot of hassle and annoyance.
Also, I guess I could help out if you need a writer too as well, like Zyphon and whoever else said so. Let me know, if not - whatever.
Really fucking interested in this.

Kind of agree with Harp. Plus then you don't have to bother with the timesink that is syncing mouths to voice lines. Hmmm... I'll think about it. It would definitely ruin the experience if you hear someone play a known character... but maybe the lack of voices would ruin character expressions when they talk? I'll definitely think about it tho. You could always do it a bit like a JRPG where the character has numerous static different poses and expressions which change throughout a conversation. I expect there's probably some stigma against that but whatever. It's what I was gonna do with the flash game thing I did before deciding to write a fanfic instead.

If I get enough money, I'll try to buy a mic and maybe I'll do voice acting if I got a chance. No promises, but of I do voice act, this will be the only way you'll know my voice. Ever.

Yeah, that could probably work, but maybe it would make the game feel less serious xDD If I get enough money, I'll try to buy a mic and maybe I'll do voice acting if I got a chance. No promises, but of I do voice act, this will be the only way you'll know my voice. Ever. If I finally use voices in the game, i'll message you! Thanks! Here's another image... I'm starting with dialogue mechanics and stuff: Looks similar enough? I know the models are horrible, but they're just placeholders for now.

I agree with the no dialogue thing, but maybe you could do what some RPGs do, and like rip short grunts, scoffs, and screams from the actual game and implement them into text boxes.

Example, let's say a shocking scene happens with Kenny. You can put in a textbox of what he says, but maybe get a clip of him saying "What the Fuck?!" or something.

You'd have to do it well. Even Banner Saga, which has taken the place of my favorite game of all time, needs to work on that. Saying that a character is in shock, when they look totally calm, as all characters only have one expression in dialogue scenes(with the exception of a few idle animations that only go as far as wind blowing a characters hair or clothing around a tiny bit), and they all look completely neutral to everything. It just doesn't work for any game that might call for some very emotional scenes, as I'm sure your game would.

Looks interesting, any idea how long it'll be? No idea yet. Maybe 45 minutes or 1 hour per episode. (yes, it's going to be episodic, but the episodes won't download automatically like in S1 or S2, you'll have to download them manually).

I'd suggest either making all episodes before releasing them or giving yourself a large headstart before releasing the first.

Just wanted to update here. One of the three stories involve something with this choice. No, before you ask, Ben's not alive. Soon i'll show more gameplay stuff.

Well, in fact, the story in which that choice matters is the one that happens during season 1... so we... could say that yeah, he's alive there. He won't show up tho, I don't want to show known characters much.
