Can't really agree or understand, but i'll respect your opinion. I don't like most songs I hear the first time so I might come back and say something completely different soon XD Ah, I see, my dad is like that most of the time. I myself usually can tell if I like something or not on the first listen, with it either getting better or worse on subsequent viewings.

Thankfully I don't have that problem when I listen to rap but every other genre is hard for me to say whether I like it or not.

Well just give it time, it also might depend on which version of the song you get, though I don't really hate any version to be honest.

Forgot to ask, what do you mean with "which version of the song you get"? Does the text change if I do other choices?

Yep, it does, depending on what you said at the end of episode 1, the lyrics change, and if you are silent its a completely different song. Quite impressive I must say.

Two things I noted in my replay of the episode:
These episodes are absurdly slow. Especially Gared and Mira's parts. Just... kept waiting for it to end, honestly. Part of that is definitely that I've played it before, but part of it is also that... they're just... slow. Mira's chapters because there are hardly any likable characters and Mira is just such weak character herself. Also, almost none of her choices are any good, are they? They all feel awkward and railroaded, or sometimes just flatout pointless. Gared's chapters are slow mainly from a design standpoint - there's no reason Gare'd training needs to be interactive. Okay, I know that this is when Telltale was still trying to make... like, games, but honestly, as I've said before, I think they should either make games, or interactive stories. As it stands now, everything they've done post TWD S1 has been an Interactive story, but with added mechanics and systems that can be called "gameplay", when they don't really serve the function of gameplay, or serve as systems with meaningful impact on the story. All that is to say: QTEs are really fricking boring and there is a ten minutes break of just... fluff, in this episode when it comes to Gared's training.
Not to say they shouldn't have mechanics outside of choices at all - Batman S2's "QTE choices" and QTEs in certain contexts(i.e. mashing Q for Rodrik to stand or Lee having to pull his leg out of the stairs) all add meaning to the story or are meaningful in and of themselves - but GOT is especially guilty of these nonsense mechanics added just for the sake of having something to market as gameplay, and it is invariably the worst part of every episode.
Also, Gared is maybe one of the most boring protagonists Telltale has ever created, isn't he?
Now, I don't want to just tear this episode apart, it's just far easier to nitpick and point out of the flaws when returning to something you initially really liked. The truth is, this is still a phenomenal episode, and it honestly delivers enough truly iconic and deeply emotional moments that I still think of this as one of my all-time favorite episodes, that is, a 10/10.
See, this is what I mean by 10/10 being a "symbolic" score. This episode is far, far from perfect, but then again, nothing is perfect, so really the only way to differentiate a 10/10 from a 9/10 in my mind is to think of a 10/10 story as one that sticks with you or does something worth commending over simply saying it's phenomenal or whatever other adjectives you want to use that has the connotation of being better than "great". In the case of The Lost Lords, the funeral scene is maybe the best scene of the entire season, and it is a truly emotional moment. That, and Rodrik's introduction in this episode is fantastic.
Anyway, I hope the pacing improves from here on out - I honestly don't remember if it does or not. Either way, still looking forward to the rest of this replay.

Still got Ballard of the Forresters bookmarked somewhere. Fantastic scene, absolutely brilliant. Frankly all the songs were great in this season.
