D4 is a criminally underknown game that game out a few days ago on XBOne from the same guy who made Deadly Premonition. It was originally planned to be a Kinect only game but they added controller support when the Kinect was pretty much abandoned by Microsoft(I've yet to try the Kinect,I might do if I do a 2nd playthrough but the controller works fine). It comes out in episodes (Well when you download the game you get the "prologue" episode along with episodes 1 and 2 and the rest are coming later).
So far I've done the first 2 episodes and have started the last and it's been really good so far, really fucking weird but really good. Basically the plot is that you're a detective who's wife was killed a while ago and you were shot in the head but some how survived, although you've lost your memory but gained the ability to time travel through things called "mementos" and you have to try to solve your wifes murder with your time traveling powers.
The game doesn't have any choices like say TWDG does but it does have a few cool mechanics like dialogue choices which rather than changing the story, you just get more points if you keep in character and stamina which goes down every time you do some kind of action but you can put it up by eating food, if it runs out completely it's game over. You also have health which you can lose by messing up QTE's in action sequences, you can use bandages and medicine to get it back.
Gameplay wise it reminds me of something like Heavy Rain, where you have to do actions (either with the analogue sticks or your arms if your using Kinect) to interact with stuff and every now and again you'll get a QTE action sequence. There's also side quests scattered about the level which have been decent enough so far.
If you have an XBOne i'd definitely suggest downloading this if you're in anyway into a very strange adventure game with a good story.
