Oh, as for Season Pass vs just getting the first episode.....
....Actually, I think on Steam you can only buy the Season Pass. So there you go.

I'm almost certainly buying it no matter what. Only exception is if it's ABSOLUTE garbage. Telltale fucked up season three a good deal, but it was still a good game. Are you talking about Sam and Max Season 3, or is that a typo for Season 2? Regardless, I'm definitely getting Season 3.

For sure! It's hard to imagine it being better then the last two seasons but I'm at least curious. Hopefully all the new characters won't die though.

I'm definitely getting season 3 no matter what. I always love the story they create and the choices that we are forced to make. Now, I would like it more if the choices are a lot like how the last choices in the Season 2 finale. leading to different area's and making determinant characters matter more.
The way I imagine Season 3 starting is a new protagonist laying around on a bed until his/her pal tells him/her that they got some work to do soon, and we get the chance to explore Wellington, chat with some of the locals, see how they're maintaining the place (which would be better than the way Carver handled it at Howe's) and talk to Clementine if we chose to let her stay, or even get mentioned about her if she left with Kenny.

Hey, how likely is it that Season Three might follow the other characters from 400 Days, with the start of their stories being determined by if they were at Carver's or not, but both starts eventually meeting up at some point, so we'd have 4 playable protagonists for Walking Dead Season Three?
Also, no matter how Season Three continues from Season Two, how likely do people think it will be that we'll be given multiple POV Characters as opposed to just a single playable character?

Well I would like to see maybe two main characters, several only works if they are spaced out in a huge area, like GOT, I don't doubt Telltale can do it.

Probably like zero chance. Starting to doubt anyone from the DLC will make an appearance again, not even Nate or Eddie, judging by how underused they were in In Harm's Way. Also, no matter how Season Three continues from Season Two, how likely do people think it will be that we'll be given multiple POV Characters as opposed to just a single playable character? They might do that. That could be the 'new angle' TTG said they're doing.

I'm still banking on them continuing from the Season Two ending, but doing it properly.
Really, I'm looking to how GoT turns out to judge if this is likely or not. Back to two hour length, seems like there will be decent release times, if they manage to make choices matter, at least a bit, I'd be willing to bet that Telltale will give it their all to do Season Three the right way.
And if not, then we'll probably get some bullshit thing that connects all the endings, killing Kenny and/or Jane, and having none of our choices matter.

I'll wait ages for Season 3 if it means the S2 endings will actually have consequence.
