No kidding, I went from punctuation to reading All Quiet on the Western Front, Most Dangerous Game, Red Badge of Courage, and Farewell to Arms, quite the improvement. What did you think of All Quiet on the Western Front? I had it as a Summer Project for Honors. The year after, I had Lord of the Flies, which I loved, and this year, I had The Catcher in the Rye, which I HATED.Funny you mention Lord of the Flies, because that was the next book I read, and I really liked All Quiet on the Western Front, really good anti war novel, I reread it for Valiant Hearts and it really got me in the mood, also I had to sit down to watch the 1930s movie, which was also very good.

I thought it was pretty good, too. I actually missed the last page. At first, somehow. We usually don't read many good books. Right now, we're reading The Great Gatsby(I already read it, I liked it, the movie is shit), and the only other books I really liked that we read before were To Kill a Mockingbird, The Freedom Writer's Diaries, and Daniel's Story(though it pales in comparison to MAUS, which is amazing, one of the best books I've ever read). Aside from that, a lot of Shakespeare. We may have to read The Fault in Our Stars this year... Which is a little weird. Not too excited about that. Then again, I really, really liked Gone Home, which I didn't think I would, and that's a similar genre(not the same media, but whatever), so... Eh.

If we should be celebrating any recluse writer it shouldn't be J.D. Salinger, it should be Bill Watterson. Now that man is a genius.

I remember reading To Kill a Mockingbird, great book, great movie, I believe the last thing I read was Romeo and Juliet, they are thinking of making me read Logan's Run next, I had a choice between that, or Ann Rand's Atlas Shrugged.

So there's a legit 50/50 chance that the season 3 finale features a Clem sex scene, right?
