I hope this season's ending won't be a big depressing and hopeless ending where everybody is dead except Clem or even Clem is dead.
Yeah, season 1's ending was depressing but it was kind of a bittersweet ending because of Clem escaping from Savannah and is reunited with Omid and Christa even though we din't know who were the two shadowy figures on the hill.

If Clem dies there will be basically no shred of hope, from my perspective. We were introduced to Clem and eventually grew attached because we take the journey and shape who she is, to an extent. In comparison, even if the baby is delivered safely to the hypothetical Wellington and gets the time skip treatment, I won't feel any sense of responsibility/attachment because it forces us to basically start anew. The slate would be wiped clean and nothing from season 1 or season 2 would matter at all.

I wouldn't care about Season 3 (at least initially) if Clem dies, because that severs any canonical connection to the previous seasons (unless Christa magically reappears, but even then I wouldn't care). If Clem lives, I will take interest in and care for the baby because the game makes us feel an obligation to do so, even if Clem becomes a NPC.

For me, I'll be playing this game no matter what. Having said that, I'll flip my shit if Clementine dies.

I mean, how would you feel if you made 123490435 Clem posters just to find it's all gone to shit? Half joking of course, but I'd be piiissed at Telltale. So much so that I might even post a rant on a public forum (totally not Tumblr who does that there), which I've never done before anywhere.

I'd probably wind up posting a rant at telltale games if they killed her off.

I doubt they will resort to that, I used to fear for her with no season 3 announced, but now, I feel like she is safe for now.

Personally, I think it would be awesome to have a child's ( 13-14 years) perspective on life in a post apocalyptic settlement (hopefully Wellington is real.)

Clem won't die, I'm certain of that.
Everyone else... Looking more and more like they're all just fucked.

I agree with Zyphon, there is no way in hell Telltale will kill off Clem. I am certain.
